So apparently I'm labeled as a horse groomer, back on Earth, and in a place I honestly don't recognize. It's...interesting. My powers seem to have been lessened, but you know, I'll just work around that. I just thought it would be nice to introduce myself. That is what I'm supposed to do, right?

So I'm at work, doing my thing, and this guest keeps staring at me. I got the memo on the being nice thing, so I ignored it. What that's nice! That didn't work. So I glanced up and gave a little smile and wave. Hoping they would just go away! No such luck. This idiot guest rushes up to me and asks me to have a vision! Really? Like, on command can I please have an agonizing vision of your surf report!?

Right. Okay see, there was this portal, and I kind of got sucked in. Believe it or not, not the weirdest thing that's happened to me. Moving on. How do I get home? Anybody got a magic book, or witch handy or something? I'll even take an amulet at this point and those things are always gaudy as hell.

So, I'm bored and curious and a little annoyed at all the people asking about my life. Which means you all get treated to my philosophical mood. Let me ask you this:

Destiny. Is it immutable? Is every single thing we do just a plan playing out that we have no say in? Is predestination a load of bull and our choices are all that there is? Or is it something in between?

Why don't you tell everyone here just how the zombies managed to get through? Or would you rather keep it from those of us that it actually affects? Which by the way is the point of me not filtering this because when folks aren't busy fighting for their very lives, I think they have a right to know the truth.

Also, while you're at it? Maybe you can explain just who in the hell you think you are? You're going to get every single person here killed because you, what? Had a sudden flash of guilt for messing with things that you shouldn't have touched to begin with? You screwed up. First by stealing my eternal rest and bringing me here, then by trying to send me back to a place I'm not even sure I can go back to. It's Petersen. This may not have been his intended consequence, but it's his doing nonetheless. He was using some serious black magic power to--doesn't matter what he was trying to do. Point is, he messed up, big time.

But you're right. I doubt he was the one implementing the statics in your vision. We'll still have to work on that, once we're past ground zero.

Um...Cordy, I think I might have seen Doyle. He was...very undead. I only caught a glimpse of him. There were so many of them, I could've been mistaken. I just want you to know, in case.

Right, so I'm all for head on attacks, but lets not get ourselves killed when we could stay alive.

I know we've got magic people around here. How much damage can you do from a distance, like if we place you on the roof tops so you can see the zombies?

As much as we're annoyed at the guests, they're still people. We need people to keep them inside and stop them from doing stupid things.

Then we need people on the roof to get a head count, and scope out the best plans of attack based on our numbers.

The fastest volunteer fighters, there's people still out there who need to be brought back. I'll go, anyone else, we need to go now.

...at least, this is what I'm thinking. Suggestions? Anyone?

I fear I know what's coming... The undead, not vampires, the sort that was dead but now are animated. Please everyone return to your cabins if you aren't there already. I have placed a very powerful spell over what I can manage, which would be the Cabins, and the main house. I will do what I can here to stem the tide. Protect yourselves and protect each other.

Any Guest who does not heed this warning you are left to your own devices. You did sign the waver to get here. I will not put the people who are here against their will in harms way because you are being ignorant.

Back to my employees, I have placed an antidote in the water source so that you will not be effected if you are bitten. Please do not risk getting bit! Please drink the water as a precaution, it will keep the disease from spreading. The gates have been closed so no Zombies can escape. There is a closet beside the laundry room, I have taken the liberty of filling it with weapons of all size and shape so that you may defend yourselves.
