[info]dragoncatcher in [info]regulation

Who: Charlie Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks
What: Srs Bzns
When: Saturday night, just after 9 PM
Where: Seamus' bar, private room
Warnings: Probably language; let's hope there's no setting things on fire!
Status: Closed, complete.

Charlie had arranged a quiet, private room for this meeting with Tonks, a room that was dog-friendly as well, because he wasn't having the discussion without his canine moral support. He was settled at the table waiting for Tonks, with their favourite drinks already set for them, and Mircea curled at his feet.

He scratched the dog's head in lieu of taking liquid courage, and waited.

Who: Katie, Sophie, Oliver and some nasty reporters.

What: Due to Rita Skeeter's article Katie and Oliver's plans to tell Sophie about Oliver's 'involvement' in her birth are toppled. Plus, they encounter reporters while trying to salvage things.
When: Friday. August 8th. A few hours after the Prophet appeared.
Rating: PG-13 (for swearing).
Status: Closed. Incomplete.

He knew full well that broomsticks came with Safety Charms for a reason. A good, solid reason that was supposed to keep the flyers from getting carried away (quite literally sometimes) and end up as mush sticking to a random chimney and giving Muggles a scare.
Oliver chose to ignore that knowledge and took the Charms off nevertheless. He pushed the broom to reach a speed that almost made breathing impossible and once or twice it was nothing but a combination of reflexes and sheer, stupid luck that kept the Scot from flying full speed into a tree.

Time was of the essence. He desperately needed to reach Katie and Sophie before a copy of the 'Daily Prophet' to keep his daughter from learning about the fact that he was her father from the newspaper. Thirty minutes and three evasive manoeuvres that nearly resulted in fatal crashes later, Oliver arrived at Katie's cottage and landed rather harshly. He ran up to the door, took a deep breath (it wouldn't do to scare Sophie looking like a madman) and plastered a fake smile on his face. It was show-time!
