Dexter walked down the hallway, hands in his pockets and whispering slightly to himself. He had to have a chat with one of the others in his department, trying to straighten out a misunderstanding of some of the files that were being reviewed. He had spent over twenty minutes before the kid finally understood. He was already tense annoyed at the incompetence of some of the people around him. Luckily, all he had left to do was grab some files from Malfoy's desk when the blond was out for one of his cigarette breaks, and just make copies and notes from them so he could call it a day.
Turning down toward his office, he gave a smile to a pair of secretaries that passed, rolling his eyes once they were gone.
