Patrol (Open)

Selina's time in this newly, relocated part of the world had been short. She hadnt yet ventured from the house she had to herself to explore for fear of not knowing what was out there. In Sanctuary there had been a protective wall around them to keep things out. And now there was nothing here to separate them from what was unknown. The Cat really didn't care too much for those odds. Especially considering her power and skills were limited in this world. She only had guns and swords to keep herself safe, and even then who said anything out beyond here could even die by those things?

Those snow dinosaurs had. They had gotten lucky, but what else might pop up unannounced and try to eat all of them? Selina wasn't too keen on waiting around to find out.

That and she was going a bit stir crazy in the house by herself. In Gotham she at least had a circle of people to go to if she needed company, The Bat included, but here she was more or less on her own. Since Jonathan was gone Selina found herself to hold a void she didn't know she had been capable of possessing. And she wasn't used to that.

Usually she got what she wanted with little to no effort but it was different here. She couldn't stand it either.

Selina sighed heavily and stood facing the outside, her back to the city. Her blue eyes swept the area around and her ears were unable to pick up anything out of the ordinary. At one hip settled the holster for a gun, and another was wrapped around the upper thigh of the opposite side. Her trusty whip was curled around her waist, and she stood there impatiently with her hands on her hips, waiting for anyone else whom might be out and about, either joining in the patrol or simply out wandering.

Company was company. She wasn't going to be too picky at this point. Even Dinah would do as far as ideal for conversation. Of course she would've preferred the Bat, but she would take what she could get.

Cold...(Narrative)

Selina trudged slowly through the ice and snow on the ground, arms curled around her frame for warmth. Her palms rubbed over the cloth that covered her arms, blue eyes sliding from side to side. She watched the others scurry about to find residence, a place warm enough to rest their heads and settle their worries. The dinosaurs had caused a small rift in some, she could tell by the change in demeanor of some of the cityborn. But she didn't care about any of them. Not that she had to. They had plenty of people watching their backs and over their shoulders. They didn't need anyone else.

A bag was looped over Selina's shoulders, carrying what little personal items she possessed since arriving in this world. The comic books she had stolen from Belia, her bullwhip and what was left of her cat suit. She had kept it as a constant reminder of what she was and the potential to be what she could be. She had a skillset that didn't fit this world, and yet she knew that some how she still had purpose. What it was seemed lacking, but she would find it in good time.

With a sigh the former cat-burglar continued to drift like a ghost down the street, finally allowing her feet to stop at a small house. It was old by the looks of it, but seemed cozy enough. No fireplace, which was disappointing but she would manage. With the pivot of her hips Selina climbed the steps and pushed open the creaky door with a boot, eyes sweeping the darkness.

Without another moment of hesitation she found herself in the dusty abode, closing the door behind herself with the same foot that had opened it. She used her hands to pull her jacket closer to her body, finally feeling the effects of exhaustion trying to claim her.

Sighing, Selina dropped heavily on to the worn, dusty couch, pulled her legs beneath herself and laid her body down. Her head propped easily on the arm rest, eyes closing before she had another moment to think. It was then she succumbed to sleep, it had taken her so forcefully she couldn't resist. Fully clothed, shivering all the while, she slept deeply without another care in the world.

The missing (Selina)

Dinah couldn't remember when she'd last slept. Ever since people and buildings disappeared, she'd been running. A day, possibly longer? There'd been some night hours in there, she knew that. Not that it mattered. Her muscles were weary but she couldn't stop until she figured out who else was missing, or until she found those who were gone. The hut that she'd once shared with Enigma was gone. Enigma and Damon were nowhere to be found.

Neither was Bruce but the cave was still there and Dinah just had to hope that he was out helping. Of course, it was what he'd be doing if he was still here. She just had to hold onto the hope that he wasn't gone too.

She hadn't been able to bring herself to visit die Festung yet. She was helping as she could in Sanctuary and keeping an eye out for anyone that she knew. She also needed to find Kate, who'd gotten here just before things went crazy. Again. Then again, when weren't things falling apart?

They all needed to do something bigger right now. They couldn't keep putting out fires. They had to find out the source and put a stop to whatever was eating away at this world once and for all.

And then what? Then what, indeed. Could they find a way home? Or would they stay and help rebuild? Dinah wasn't sure she could leave even if they did find a way home. She certainly couldn't turn her back on these people who needed help, even if she might be needed at home too.

It wasn't a decision she had to make just yet though. Perhaps not ever. So for now, she searched and hoped.

Triage in Sanctuary [Open to All at Sanctuary!]

It wasn't really the car or the weapons that were valuable. There wasn't any gas for the car, only about three-fourths of a tank left, and the luxury vehicle wasn't made to work in broken world on terribly maintained roads. The weapons? They were okay if you had the skill or training to use them. Most people were really well armed.

No, the valuable stuff was her shampoo, her road snacks -- luxuries that were few and far in between. They were also things she could part with for trade. Until she met with Erik she was sleeping in her car. The leather seating was probably more comfortable than whatever they cobbled together in the "huts" anyway.

"Looks like we're camping," she said to the dog. As long as Bruce was safe, and by extension, the Hulk was asleep, then all was right with the world. She'd get some sleep, get a feel for the place and then...

Then there was an earthquake.

Scratch that. No good news. Everything sucks.

It wasn't just an earthquake. It was so much more than an earthquake. Where her car had been strategically parked was now a pile of rubble. The bumper of her blue car just visible. Lucky had made it out, living up to his name once again. Kate thought she heard barking, she couldn't be sure. Only that she was unable to move, would be lucky if she hadn't broken something and was probably about to loose consciousness.

Hopefully everyone else was alright.

Her side hurt. Thankfully, Kate Barton was unable to see why.

So comical....(Jonathan Crane)

Selina sat on the hard floor of the hut that she shared with Jonathan, with her back pressed against one of the even harder walls. Her legs were drawn up to her chest, knees pressing into her own frame with a comic book propped against the joints. The other books lay sprawled around where she sat in a semi-circle, all open to various pages of herself. Action poses, heists, banter with other villains and a few panels dedicated to her and Batman.

She didn't quite understand. None of it could be true and yet all of it was true. She was staring down at her life inked into these pages, these fictional works and though she hadnt yet lived most of these scenes Selina couldn't help but feel very small.

She sighed, lifting a palm to settle over her eyes for a moment. Her head ached from all of the images, the knowledge she was now aware of. She hadnt grabbed all of the comics, and she had a feeling that there might not actually be a definitive number. There may be endless amounts of these books with her in them, with Jonathan in them....with Bruce in them. It was too hard.

Selina struggled for a moment. Floundered in her existence.

With a sigh, Selina rubbed her eyelids with her fingertips and let the comic tumble to the floor in front of her as she shifted her legs. She stretched her limbs over the comics, settling the limbs over the books themselves, trying to think.

What would Jonathan make of this? Bruce? Dinah? She wasn't sure if it was exactly safe to disclose this to anyone. Jonathan she could trust, but the others....? It was best to keep it on the ground for now.

Opening her eyes slowly, Selina lowered her hand and glanced around at the comics spread out on the floor. She couldn't help but feel very small. Very put of her element and she had no idea what to do next.

How to cope.

Eternal knowledge....(Narrative)

Selina breathed in slowly.

Licking over her lips the woman gazed at all of the shelves lined with books in Belia's possession. Selina never could've imaged such an extensive array of works. Comic books, plays, musicals, television shows, movies....video games? A library full of information and most of what Selina was seeing was not to the pleasure of the cat burglar.

It was hard to take. Her life, and the lives of others, were here before her. Bound to these works of fiction. But she wasnt fiction and to prove that Selina ran her hands over her own body. To justify her reality.

The break in wasnt the hard part. The reality of what she was seeing was difficult. She knew that there had been a reason she hadnt trusted Belia. Even from the get-go. Despite being thrown out over territory, Selina had had a feeling about the woman. That she couldn't be trusted. And she was right. How right, she hadnt realized until this moment. Until she saw it for herself.

It was a terrible truth, that someone knew her entire life and future. How did it end? Did she even want to know?

Mustering up the courage, Selina found the section of her genre, pulling out a comic book from amidst the others. She flipped through the images, her eyes scanning over a fight scene between her and Bruce Wayne. A punch, and she was down. And he was standing over her. The comment about how he could ever hit a woman and there was an apology. Before she kicked him and sent him down to the roof.

A laugh.

Selina frowned.

She closed the comic and reached out to grasp the rest of the section on the shelf, all she could carry safely before getting out of there. She didn't want to get caught but she had to know. She couldn't help herself.

She made her way out as silently as she came and once Selina was over the wall she rushed back to the Sanctuary.

When she was back in the hut she shared with Jonathan, she relaxed. And read about her life.

It was wonderful. And awful. But it was hers.

Not a coward.....(Narrative)

Selina was not a coward.

Bane's words still touched places in her mind that she never knew existed. The depths of the very thought of herself backing down and running when everything was at stake was unacceptable. It was something she never wanted to consider, but now she didn't have the option. The thought was burned into her mind and it was all she could think about.

Slowly, Selina approached the wall of die Festung, a place that was familiar to her from her first visit. What she was planning, the cat burglar wasn't entirely sure but Selina knew that whatever it was it would be great.

Since meeting with Sam, and learning about Belia's library, Selina wanted to see the volumes for herself. If that meant breaking into the place where they were kept, then Selina would do that. Of course, nobody knew what the plan was for sure. Not even she did.

Selina scaled the outer wall, minding the large crack from the Earthquake, knowing she was going to have to avoid the guards (and most of all being seen) at all costs. It wouldn't do to be caught so early in the game, but stealth was what she was good at.

She descended the other side of the wall carefully, placing a foot, then a hand, so the climb would be well-thought out. Around her waist was her trusty bullwhip, and at her hip was the gun she'd been holding on to.

When her feet were on the ground, Selina turned so that her back was to the wall. She cast her gaze around at the silence, the stillness, and felt herself unnerved. She didn't like the quiet, but she would use that to her advantage.

Selina didn't notice the large black bird that was perched not too far from where she was standing as it was silent like the shadows that hid it. Only the reflection from the moon could be seen twinkling in it's dark eyes.

Licking her lips, Selina stepped forward into the city. Now it was her turn to play.

Alone, alone...(Open)

Selina didn't quite understand what was going on. The atmosphere in the Sanctuary seemed to have shifted a little after the Earthquake. Of course there hadnt been much damage to the area, for which Selina was grateful. She felt safe in the Sanctuary, safe with Jonathan to keep her company.

Despite his shift in mood.

She wasnt complaining exactly it just wasnt something she was used to seeing when it came to the Doctor. Crane was usually the type to toy and gas, but he seemed different lately. It was nice, but it made Selina uneasy. She didn't care too much for that. She felt a little bit helpless, as well, like she didn't have a solid foundation to stand on when it came to things in her current life.

She had yet to exercise her skills, not seeing any opportunity. Sam had mentioned Belia holding on to books, things that might prove valuable but Selina was done with die Festung for the moment. Returning seemed pointless.

Instead the cat-burglar found herself sitting just outside the Sanctuary, back propped against the large base of a tree. Her legs were drawn up against her chest and her arms were curled around her lower limbs, holding them gently. It was a position she found familiar. It was comforting despite the memories of her past it recalled. Often she sat that way when she was young, in the facility she'd been sent to after she'd run away from her foster parents house and she felt lonely. Abandoned.

Not that Selina minded being alone, she worked better when she only had herself and her skills to rely on, but that didn't mean she didn't want companionship. Even a friend other than Jonathan would do. She had grown to like Jonathan in their time together since her arrival, but she hadnt really had the opportunity to branch out further than Dinah and Bruce Wayne. Her list of people she could count on was short and she didn't care much for that. Sure, she wasnt exactly reliable when it came to picking a side (whichever benefited her most was often the one she chose) but out here in a world where she was unfamiliar, a friendly face was almost a reason to celebrate.

She sighed, and listened, hoping nothing dangerous dared to cross her path. Her bullwhip was tied around her waist, and a gun was sitting on the grass at her side in case she needed it. She had hated guns before, but here...oh, here she was fighting more than a circus clown or a Dark Knight. Here it was kill or be killed. No mercy. Only pain.

Shake shake...(Jonathan)

Selina had made it back to the Sanctuary safely a few days ago, after leaving Sam and die Festung behind her. She had been exposed to many things, new places, people and information. It was almost more than she could readily process with her mind. She had to sort through what was fact and what was fiction. How did she know that Sam wasn't just making things up? Well, he didn't seem to be lying to her. But that didn't mean he wasn't good at hiding the truth. She wrestled with the things Dinah, Belia and Sam had told her, and of course with the discovery of a new city and the fact that there were books about her life.

Over the course of the few days, since her arrival back at the hut she share with Jonathan and the present moment, Selina had been getting very little sleep. Her mind worked over the facts relentlessly and it wouldn't let up. Thus she slept very little. She was concerned about the other city and why the others were here in this one. Apparently there was protection here. She had yet to meet the one responsible for creating this small colony but perhaps she should make the effort. She wondered of he would cast her out like Belia did at the mere mention of starting a new colony. Perhaps Selina had been a bit forward with the information, but she didn't like to waste precious time. Especially when it seemed they didn't have a lot of it to begin with.

She lay on her cot, curled up in a fetal position, staring blankly out at the room. Her mind raced and she was exhausted, but she knew she wouldn't sleep. This world had changed so much since she'd ventured out of the sanctuary, and she wasn't sure what exactly to make of it. She did know that she had stability here. She didn't believe Jonathan would abandon her, and she knew she could count on him to be there just in case anything happened.

The night was warm, and inviting. And just when Selina closed her eyes to try to make herself sleep the ground itself began to shake violently. Her eyes opened and widened, and before she could get up to see what was going in she was literally thrown out of her cot and onto the floor.

Earthquake.

Summing it up...(Sam W.)

Selina had been officially kicked out of the city of die Festung. She had never been kicks four of any place in her life. It was frustrating but she hasn't exactly been expecting the welcome wagon when she set out with the idea of starting a new colony burned into the forefront of her mind. She was determined, always had been, but she was exactly where she had been before she reached the city itself. She had basically made a sidestep instead of moving forward. Was creating a new colony worth the trouble? Perhaps things were better left as they were. She was now aware of the two colonies of people, ones in the smaller Sanctuary and now the bigger die Festung. She wondered if it was even worth the risk of competing blindly against Belia. Not that she saw the other woman as competition exactly.

Selina wondered what Jonathan would think if she went back to the hut they shared and told him about the city she'd found. Would he want to move? Belia had allowed Selina a return on the basis that she would be residing within the walls. Selina had a lot of thinking to do. She would stay on track for now and focus on the task at hand. Getting to know the land. At least if she knew the layout she could weigh her options. All of her options seemed to be pretty heavy. And she still felt so out of place. Would a city change that for her? She had skills that were completely useless. Her life was about stealth, stealing and getting away with whatever she wanted. Here it seemed that there wasn't anything of value to take. Whichever rendered her useless and she hated feeing like she had no purpose.

She leaned against the wall just outside of the gate of die Festung, not yet ready to make up her mind on what she ultimately would do. She knew she would have to go back to Jonathan at some point. That was only fair. Especially if she decided to relocate. She wanted to give him the option to come with her. If he wouldn't, then that was fine. She would do it alone. That was how she liked things anyway. Other people tended to complicate things.

She breathed out, arms folded together across her chest as she pressed her back against the weathered outer wall. Her chin was tilted upward slightly, so her eyes could look into the sky. Having options in a place like this was strange. But she had to focus. It was focus and have something to live for, or waste away into nothing. And she wasn't about to do that any time soon.

Finding the source....(Selina/Belia)

Dinah had mentioned finding the city of die Festing and seeking out a few people in hopes of starting her own colony. A place where people could trust others around them. A place they could be safe and feel safe. She knew that she would never feel safe being under the watch of a stranger, and she wasn't sure how everyone else in this place (or the Sanctuary) dealt with that. There had to be something, considering people stayed. What it was though, Selina wasn't quite sure. She was a loner. She acted as she pleased and did what she wanted. Obeying rules wasn't in her set of skills.

However, scaling walls was when she was properly equipped. This world had left her without the basic essentials to her trade save for her bullwhip, which wasn't doing her much good at that point. So, instead of the usual silent infiltration Selina decided to walk right in through the gate and past the guards. She hadn't any trouble finding the city but the forest itself was vast and a little frightening. She was used to being on her own, however, so she didn't let it get to her that much.

Her eyes widened a little at the city, looking at everything. She stopped to absorb the atmosphere and almost collapsed at the sight. She had been living in a forest when there was clearly a city here with people, and proper housing. What was she thinking? She should've been out scouting before for decent places to stay in a world like this. If this place was here, she wondered to herself what the rest of the world was like. What it held. What was out there. She had yet to meet any real danger but she wasn't going to take any chances either.

Finally regaining herself, Selina pushed through the city. She watched the people. They made her a little nervous but nobody seemed to be paying her any mind despite her being armed. She breathed out an exasperated huff and finally began asking around. The people here seemed nice enough. They told her that Belia was the leader and that she would be the person to see if Selina needed anything. Belia seemed to be the one that made all of the decisions. Maybe Belia and Selina could be allies. Maybe not. The Cat would just have to wait and see.

There was a place where this leader of the people resided and it was there Selina went to look for her, unsure of what to expect. When she reached the place where the few folks had told her Belia was, Selina stepped inside and looked around for any sign of life.

Scratching an itch....(Narrative)

After talking with Dinah about creating her own piece of civilzation the idea sort of stuck with the cat burglar. It was unshakable. This itch, this urge to get out on her own and finally be around those people she could trust. Though she only knew a few of them, and probably trusted less than that, she believed it would work.

It was time to finally scratch that itch.

Before she set out, Selina poked around the Sanctuary and found the small stash of weapons. She took some for herself, as Dinah had warned her about the dangers in the woods, as well as another city that might offer the Cat protection should she make it there in one piece.

Selina found Jonathan, and told him that she was leaving. He didn't take the news very well, but Selina would return when she could. Of course, until Haven was created. She needed to find someone that knew the land, and apparently Jonathan wasn't aware that other cities even existed. Selina didn't blame him, but that didn't make her mood any better either.

So, the Cat set out for the forest in hopes of finding the city of die Festung, and to seek out Dean and Sam. She was supposed to find them because they knew the land, and staking claim on a bit of land was just what she needed.

She also would need help, as well as other people interested in forming this colony with her. She envisioned a place where they could all exist together, and not worry about trust issues or fighting with one another. She wanted this place to be safe. A Haven. To be better than anything else out there. And for that to happen many things would have to become in motion.

Selina could only hope that it worked itself out and became just as she saw it. Perfect.

The Cat and the Canary (Selina)

Dinah knew that they would need to talk to Erik soon, but she needed a little time to think on her own first. She had a lot to think over. From what to do if Erik kicked Enigma out of Sanctuary to the glimpse she'd had of the future to Selina showing up and setting her sights on Bruce.

A walk could be dangerous in this world, but Dinah needed to risk it. She needed the chance to get out and clear her head. She usually gravitated toward people, but there were times when even she needed her space to think. This was one of those times.

She set out in the morning with a backpack filled with survival supplies, including a large knife to use if she encountered any of the Netvors. Her senses were on high alert as she kept her eyes out for anything that could be a threat-Bane included.

So much blood....(Narrative; Selina/Jonathan Crane)

Selina had been resting inside of the small home she was sharing with Jonathan. Her mind was still racing with the things she had seen of this world so far. It was so different from Gotham and she almost couldn't comprehend the fact that she was no longer in the city she knew so well. Every back alley. Every store. Every heist.....all of it was dust in the wind at this point. Nothing that she had stolen mattered anymore and it was sort of discouraging. It wasn't like there was anything of importance here that she could steal. Did this place have anything of value in it? Was there such a thing left? She hadn't explored much of the land outside of where she was staying mostly due to the fact that she had no idea what lay in wait out there for her. Gotham was predictable. This vast forest full of monsters wasn't.

She closed her eyes for only a moment. Just long enough for a second to pass in a normal moment. But this time they didn't open. Not right away.

There was darkness. Then light.

And pain. Lots of pain.

When her eyes opened Selina grimaced, lips pulled back from her teeth as she rested back against a chair. Her shoulders, arms and clavicle were bare. A cloth rested over her chest and there was a fire burning on one of her shoulders. It wasn't anything she had ever experienced before. Had she been injured? What happened?

Slowly, Selina tilted her head to look down at the wound. It was ugly. It gaped and spewed blood which cascaded down her arm and soaked the sheet that covered her. Selina groaned as her stomach turned once the copper smell hit her nose. Gathering herself, Selina regained her composure and allowed her tongue to slip over her lips which were dry. Too dry.

"Jonathan?" Selina whispered, unsure of where she was or what had happend to her. She needed a doctor. She hoped he was there. He was the only one that could help her.

Three's a Crowd (Selina/Bruce)

Bruce was healed thanks to Peter, but that didn't stop Dinah from sneaking peeks at him as they walked to Sanctuary. She just couldn't get the image of him bleeding, bruised, and broken out of her mind. She knew that this might be a suicide mission, but they needed to talk to Erik and see if the leader of Sanctuary knew who exactly he was housing. They also needed to give him a heads-up about Enigma and Damon being vampires.

Dinah wasn't exactly looking forward to that conversation. She still had to tell Bruce too, come to think of it. There had been so much that had happened since Enigma's change that it had just slipped through the cracks.

"Bruce, there's something that you need to know about Enigma," she said by way of opening the conversation.

Now was as good a time as any, she supposed.

Here kitty kitty....(Jonathan Crane)

She scaled the rooftop of Falcone's large manor, where an elegant party seemed to be taking place, which was the perfect distraction. That meant that "The Roman"'s thugs would be busy checking in the guests and keeping the party in order. Slowly, she climbed over the shingled plateau of roof, before lifting her hands up, curling her leather-clad fingers around the lip of the balcony above her, pushing herself upwards using the toes of her boots for leverage, sliding over the railing with ease. She had done this same act so many times it was second-nature to her, and she blended in so well with the shadows that she was sure nobody would see her. That was, save for the Bat whom watched her from afar, using his own design of binoculars. Batman was attending this party as well, though not as an invited guest, but to infiltrate the gang of thugs before they could do anymore damage to the inner workings of Gotham. Bruce had had enough of Falcone getting off in court, or having his thugs take the fall for his actions. It was about time he caught The Roman in the act and finally brought him down.

The corners of her red lips ascended upwards into a smirk as she set her feet down on the ledge, pushing from the rail itself to move silently up to the set of doors that seperated her from the inside of the house, making sure to walk on her toes so that her heels wouldn't give away her position. She waited outside of the large doors, listening for a moment, before hearing nothing on the other side. Purrfect. With her hand, she settled her fingers on the long golden knob of the door, pushing down gently against the lever, the door sliding open without hesitation. She breathed out softly, sliding in through the slit that had appeared between the doors, drowning herself in the darkness.

Once she was inside, she crept across the room after closing the door silently behind herself, avoiding the obstacles that had been tossed about the room in a fashion that meant the current resident was more than just a bit of a slob. They were an outright pig. She made a face to herself upon seeing the condition of the room, but didn't let that slow her down as she made her way across the room safely, to the door opposite the ones that lead to the balcony, opening the door that lead to the hallway slowly. She peered through the crack, eyes alert for movement, seeing none. With that, she swung the door open and moved out into the hallway, able to hear the festivities taking place in the ballroom connected to the manor. If there was one thing The Roman was not, it was frugal. She liked a man that went all out with things, especially when they were as much of a moron as Falcone was.

She made her way down the hallway, alert and listening, before finding herself surrounded by thugs, which only made her smile. "Be gentle boys." She breathed, before there was a loud crash from one of the windows in the long hallway, which earned the attention of all of the thugs, and the leather clad kitty, it being none other than the bat. Selina sighed, and began to fight the thugs, with Batman's help, before the Bat pulled a gas bomb from his utility belt, setting it off in the room. Grateful for the quick escape, even though Batman had blown her cover, Selina manuvered through the hallway, through the window that Batman had come through, allowing him to assist her, until they were on the roof of the building once again. "You always spoil the good part." She said with a pout, earning a hard look from the Bat which amused her.

Together, she and Bruce leapt from the roof, each parting to their seperate vehicles, fleeing the scene for now. Selina had the information Bruce wanted, and why she had been there in the first place, he wasn't sure, but he was going to find out. They raced back to Gotham, entering the city limits, Selina pulling her motorcycle into the alley, leaving it to scale the side of a building with her claws. Falcone was sure to come after them both once his thugs relayed the message that both of the masked nightcrawlers had tried to crash his party.

She scaled the building with ease, and ran across the roof, leaping onto the next building below the one she had been on previous, anxious to be rid of the man she knew was chasing her. He would want answers, one she wasn't quite willing to give just then.

It was at that point Selina leapt from another building, intending on landing on the dark street of Gotham, finding herself diving instead into a large drift of snow. She made a face, landing hard in the drift, a soft sound of pain and surprise escaping her lips as she rolled through the white blanket, coming to an abrupt halt as she crashed shoulder first into the base of a very green tree, one that seemed untouched by the blanket of white. She made a face, closing her eyes for a moment as she rested there, trying to figure out where all of this snow had come from. Gotham had earned a warm climate and was peaking at a record for the most intolerable days and nights, this was someplace else entirely. It had to be. She could feel the snow against her face, but not anywhere else, considering her suit was designed to prevent extreme temperatures from harming her, fire included. "What is this?" She breathed, finally opening up her eyes, which were hazy for a moment before they cleared. She stared up at the sky, and the leaves, trying to let all of this set in. This wasn't Gotham. Where was this? How did she get here?
