PLOT

While I have been a bit slower than usual lately, I just wanted to put in the following offer. If any of you want Lois to write up an article regarding something your character has done, let me know. It might take me awhile to write up said article, but I love giving Lois the chance to stretch her reporter-y muscles.

And as always, if you want Lois to interview your character or chase down a story regarding your character, let me know.

• Lestat! It's been too long since Beauty's seen you, and that might have something to do with Eric verbally emasculating you! Defend yourself! EEEEEE STARTED!!!
• Eric! A certain witch of yours has made very serious accusations of imminent ruinage. What have you been telling other people about us?!
• Dinah! You caught Beauty's attention at the press conference; now she's looking for you -- and she's bringing comfort tea and croissants! WOO HOO for new threads!!!
• Ted! Someone has your laptop. Someone also has never watched a movie before. Or eaten popcorn. Movie night at The Horse House! STARTED!!
• Charlie! There's still the little matter of the horned fruit! Combined and started!! EE!!!
• David Hatter! ...Okay, hear me out -- wait, no, that'd spoil it. I'll email ya!
• Megan! ...You know, Beauty could do with some fashion tips (her style is so very 18th century). Pixie School of Fashion? YES PLEASE. STARTED!! Eee hee hee!
• Hank! Beauty hasn't actually met your blue beastiness yet. Might be interesting! Then again, she might scream her head off...
• Jesse! Ahem!

So, my lovely ones, now that we can again accept new characters into the City, I have thoughts on reviving Erik, The Phantom of the Opera.

But before I do, I was wondering if anyone would want to play with him?

That sounded way dirtier than I meant it.

Alice here? She needs a job. Preferably teaching Judo. Is there already a martial arts studio around or should she just find a space for one somewhere?

A while back, Megan got (somewhat wrongly) suspicious of the City's mayor and went poking around. He mentioned the Justice League. She's curious, though mostly in a "What's the City really like for people with powers?" way.

Would anyone be willing to meet with her?

Hi everyone!

Temperance here is new, but not new. She's been in the City before, and she will probably remember Hannibal and Mad, but she should really meet some other people.

Also, she's a forensic anthropologist, so if there are crimes having to do with bones, she's on it.

Does anyone want to play with her?


P.S. I also have Alice, and she would really like some adventure and random encounters with people she doesn't know. Any takers?

So! Hank's just turned himself blue and fuzzy. Brilliant little man.

And, because he brilliantly to work out how to use were-blood as a shifting mechanism instead of Mystique's DNA it didn't go as smoothly. Hence, he's feral n' fuzzy and running about the City.

I've no plans for what to do with him in the immediate future. Anybody want to play?

Wanted: Obnoxious neighbor

Crowley's life in the City has been pretty uneventful when it comes to day-to-day life. Large plots aside, nothing overly exciting. I'd like to set up a plot that could maybe have room for lots of future interactions. Crowley has a flat in the City. A large, fancy flat. I think it would be hilarious for him to have an obnoxious neighbor, maybe a new neighbor at that, to torment him from time to time.

I'll take any breed of obnoxious: overly nosy, late night loud music, daytime loud noises, constant party host, raucous sex fiends... whatever. I'm totally open for lulz. Let's make this happen.

Any takers? Anyone want to repeatedly piss off or just irritate a demon?

So, I'm ready for someone to point out to Lois that she is, in fact, a comic book character. Bonus points for bringing up the whole ending up with Superman/Clark Kent thing. Volunteers??

Also, Dinah is about to get hit with sexy mojo from Eric, so anyone who wants to have a little bit of fun with that (oh dear, the fishnets are going to be FORMIDABLE) let me know.

And Logan could use someone to snark at, Jo could use someone to hunt with/befriend/flirt with/whatever.

So, as was mentioned elsewhere, Baba needs some victims/blood donors. She's got plans and they just might require a little sacrifice. Promise, no death, just good harmless fun. Unless you want harmful fun. Ahem. Anyway, she's going to try to recruit Hank to collect samples, all in the name of science, of course. She'll also be doing her own collecting. This blood drive is leading up to something that will effect the whole City and cause the WC craziness we've come to know and love.

So, Zatanna and Dinah are currently recruiting heroes in an attempt to start up a City chapter of the Justice League (though they might end up calling it something different. who knows?)

Anyway, they'll definitely be inviting Ollie and Batman to join, but if anyone wants their character involved in some way, let me or Krista know and we can arrange a meeting with them and Dinah or Zee. (Or hit up Li for Ollie or Nels for Batman, because either of them could recommend someone too I'd assume?)

TC-I'll send you an email too but I think Dinah would invite Hank to be the team's doctor.

Umm... Dinah would want to invite Babs and if she finds out Dick's in the City, she'd invite Dick to join too.

But this definitely isn't limited to DC characters. We just seem to have more DC costumed heroes than anything at the moment. But costume or no costume, if you want your character involved in some way, let me know and we'll find a place for them :)

I changed Amelia's narrative to narrative/open if anyone wants to join in. It was what I had intended in the first place, then forgot to add the "open" part.

*Sigh.* I must be getting old!

As you all may have noticed from this thread, there's going to be an election for mayor.

Currently, Jack and Gaius are the only candidates. However, this is open to anyone who would like to run.

We will be starting campaigning soon and we're thinking the election itself will be held towards the end of November/Early December-ish. I'm thinking it will just be a poll that will allow for you to vote on behalf of your characters however you'd wish.

In the meantime, Jack and Gaius both need campaign managers if anyone's characters are interested. And your characters will probably be inundated with commercials and print ads and election stuff GALORE. They will probably be sick of both Jack's and Gaius' faces by the time the election rolls around.

So... feel free to comment here if you want your character in on the campaigning fun. Or with any questions :)
