At Pax Letale, an awakening has begun. As these gods rediscover themselves and each other, the seemingly invisible but ubiquitous management tracks each of them quite closely, and the very building itself seems to have an agenda of its own. And as the gods made humans in their own image - or humans made them in theirs - so will the the behavior of the people of Pax turn as dark as their deities. Blood, strife, sex, petty plots, torture - even murder will wind their ways into Pax Letale.

The more the merrier, yeah? Anyone feel like hitting the town tonight? I want to check out that CASKET place. Seems like I talked to a couple people on here some time back that were interested in going with me. The offer's still standing. Casual Monday night drinks on me sound good? I know they do.

Hello everyone. Victor Theson here. (in apartment 405)

I am just getting settled into this place. I am very impressed with the quality of the rooms and the amenities. I am looking forward to starting a new life here with you all.

I do apologize in advance for any disruptions I may be causing in the next few days to a week as I get some of my personal items set up, as well as likely purchase some furniture and move it in. If anyone has any good suggestions for a place to find good furniture and appliances, I would love the assistance, and I'd be happy to thank anyone who gives me some good tips with a friendly round of drinks.

My schedule is pretty free right now. I'm waiting to get completely settled before re-joining the work force. I suppose I'll just treat it as a mini-vacation. Please feel free to come an introduce yourselves to me, if you like.

I'm pretty laid back, and enjoy most social activities, good conversation, and good music. I'd also really like to explore the beaches, and any trails their might be in the area. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

I suppose that's it for now. Thanks everyone.

-Victor

Attention fellow insomniacs:

I've just moved in, I've been stress-baking to avoid finishing my unpacking, and I appear to have accidentally doubled the batch on some chocolate-chip cookies. Please come say hello and pick some up before I eat them all and make myself sick and/or permanently alter the earth's gravitational pull through the expanding size of my ass.

Thanks,
Bea
Room 702

P.S. Right, introductions. Bea Murray, new resident, museum curator/ artist. Seriously, come eat cookies.

Since I've been making noise moving in the past day or two, I thought I'd take advantage of this forum and introduce myself the second my internet was set up. You have to love technology, allowing us to communicate like this, so modern, so new, so very different. I'm Sean Allen and I just moved here from San Fransisco. I haven't exactly seen much besides the view from my U-Haul, but from what I've seen so far, I'm in love. Living in a major city like San Fran was never really my style, I love the city and all it has to offer, but there weren't many quiet places. Here I LIVE on the beach, which is absolutely amazing. I don't know if anyone else does or is interested in yoga, but I'll definitely be doing yoga on the beach every morning for anyone that wants to join.

I teach meditation and yoga six days a week at The Newport Mesa Zen Center, and if anyone here wants a free class or two, let me know, I have cards and can also give private instruction in my free time for residents, what's a neighbor for? I'm also a practicing Buddhist in case anyone else is as well. I hesitate to mention this, but from time to time I like to hang out with my friend Mary Jane, so if anyone here can set me up, let me know.

I’m not really very good at introductions, but I’m going to give this a try. I firmly believe that you really have to simply meet someone to get a good idea of who they truly are. I could say absolutely anything here if I wanted to, and be a hideous monster in person. My name is Vanessa and I recently turned 31. What a horrible age 31 is. I feel too old to go to most of the bars and nightclubs, but I’m not exactly old enough to see the early bird special at Denny’s as a good time. I’m hoping people around here can show me some of the good hang out spots, just don’t say Muldoons. I’ve only just moved here and I already have two jobs. I bartend at Muldoons a few nights a week to make some extra cash, and I’m a hair stylist at Cristophe Hair Salon. I’ve only worked there a few days, but from what I can tell so far, the people are pretty nice and so far not one catty bitch has shown his or her colors, which is a refreshing change of pace.

Besides looking to find some night life spots, I’m also looking for advice on restaurants. I hate to cook, and actually when I do cook, I’m absolutely horrible at it. Maybe one of these days I’ll learn how to cook more than toast and a box of macaroni and cheese. Who knows, maybe someone here will teach me, and maybe that person will come in the form of someone tall dark and handsome, one can dream right?

I’m looking forward to meeting some new people, and I’m the kind of person that will say hello and start up a conversation with almost anyone. I had a 20 minute conversation with a grocery store clerk that was stocking the shelves late last night and could tell you her entire life story. So I’ll most likely say hi to you first, but if I don’t and you see a kooky girl with curly dark brown hair looking lost and extremely frustrated, introduce yourself.

So hi! I'm Lucy and I just moved in! It's always nice to introduce yourself to new people, so here I am! I've met some of you, of course. Hi Luc! There's another guy, too! He doesn't like stairs though, and I think baseball confuses him. I hope you all are nice to him. He's very polite. I can't remember what his name was. Hm.

I'm not very good at this. I don't know what else to say! Is this long enough? I hope so.

Oh, hey there. I'm the new guy in D1. And I actually had a question.

Does anyone know what Pax Letale's policy on pets is?

I guess I should make a better introduction than that.

I'm Luc Haust. I'm 27, an Aquarius, and a professional songwriter. I was born in Reno, Nevada and spent ten years on Lake Tahoe, but then my parents moved to Los Angeles and I've spent the good majority of my life there. I lived in Las Vegas for awhile, but that was kind of just a really extended vacation. I was a dancer in the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company for awhile, but that was when I was younger and much more flexible. Hahaha. I still dance, but now it's just for fun.

I lost the love of my life to illness about six months ago. I guess that's why I moved here, because our old place just had too many memories of that.

I like to cook (mostly because I like to eat), I like throwing parties, I love going out, and I like my whiskey neat. For those who aren't familiar with that terminology, it's just a bar term for straight-up. I like my friends neat too. On both levels. I am also a living cliche for saying that I like long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners too, but it wouldn't be a cliche if there weren't people who enjoyed those kind of things.

I'm really bad at this whole thing, so I'd better go before my foot leaps into my mouth. I'll be home for the next couple days getting settled in, so if anyone wants to come help me unpack - well, I'd offer to pay you but that makes it seem like a bribe. Haha. Though I'm not opposed to bribes (I happen to enjoy being bribed, but that could just be me), and I have quite an extensive collection of alcohol and stuff to smoke if anyone is so inclined.

I did not just do that. Jesus H.

Luc.

OH, AND PS: The rumors are true, I will be throwing a moving-in party - though it will technically be a moved-in party, because I can't exactly have a party in my apartment with how it looks right now. But soon. And you are all invited, should you choose to attend. But, believe me, it'll be worth it if you do..

Alright? This is a bit weird, isn't it? Never been big on the whole internet thing, but everything's worth trying out once. So, I'm Ben, I've just moved in to 104. 'Scuse any boxes or random furniture on the first floor landing. And don't be surprised if I ring round for a cup of sugar or something, as my cupboards are bare. Perhaps Mother Hubbard lived here before me

One small request: please don't knock before noon. I'm not good in the mornings and I've a tendency to be naked. As lovely as I'm sure you all are, I'd rather meet you when I'm not in the altogether and on the back foot. Oh, and you probably won't find me after 9, either. Basically, afternoons are good. Afternoons are golden, in fact.

Right, and I always keep my key in my back pocket, so if you find me in any sort of trouble in the wee small hours, just have a dig in there and chuck me in my flat. I'll be eternally grateful.

Well, since my brother Rick just embarrassed me in front of a bunch of total strangers with whom I share living accomodations just reminded me that I need to make a formal introduction on this forum to the folks living here (thanks, baby brother! you can die in a fire now), allow me to introduce myself! My name's Ron Nikesh, and yes, Rick really is my brother, and yes, I'm a doctor, and yes, some of my patients are "celebrities," though it's not nearly as glamorous as it sounds. I work out of a practice down in Newport Beach that specializes in mens health, and do some work for the porn film industry up in LA. (As a urologist, I'll let your imaginations fill in the blanks re: my "film industry" work.) I've been here at Pax for a few weeks, and I have already met some of you, but I'm excited to meet everyone else!

As Rick said, I'm up in 1007. You're welcome to come on up anytime, all of you - the view from up here is amazing!
