[public from D1]
Oh, hey there. I'm the new guy in D1. And I actually had a question.

Does anyone know what Pax Letale's policy on pets is?

I guess I should make a better introduction than that.

I'm Luc Haust. I'm 27, an Aquarius, and a professional songwriter. I was born in Reno, Nevada and spent ten years on Lake Tahoe, but then my parents moved to Los Angeles and I've spent the good majority of my life there. I lived in Las Vegas for awhile, but that was kind of just a really extended vacation. I was a dancer in the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company for awhile, but that was when I was younger and much more flexible. Hahaha. I still dance, but now it's just for fun.

I lost the love of my life to illness about six months ago. I guess that's why I moved here, because our old place just had too many memories of that.

I like to cook (mostly because I like to eat), I like throwing parties, I love going out, and I like my whiskey neat. For those who aren't familiar with that terminology, it's just a bar term for straight-up. I like my friends neat too. On both levels. I am also a living cliche for saying that I like long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners too, but it wouldn't be a cliche if there weren't people who enjoyed those kind of things.

I'm really bad at this whole thing, so I'd better go before my foot leaps into my mouth. I'll be home for the next couple days getting settled in, so if anyone wants to come help me unpack - well, I'd offer to pay you but that makes it seem like a bribe. Haha. Though I'm not opposed to bribes (I happen to enjoy being bribed, but that could just be me), and I have quite an extensive collection of alcohol and stuff to smoke if anyone is so inclined.

I did not just do that. Jesus H.

Luc.

OH, AND PS: The rumors are true, I will be throwing a moving-in party - though it will technically be a moved-in party, because I can't exactly have a party in my apartment with how it looks right now. But soon. And you are all invited, should you choose to attend. But, believe me, it'll be worth it if you do..

I suppose to depends on the type of pet. My two birds were allowed.

That's a bit larger than a bird, so I'm afraid I don't know.

Welcome to the neighborhood, by the way. I'm Tanya Maxwell.

Depends on what kind of dog, I guess. Haha. I haven't really decided on that yet. Didn't want to get ahead of myself.

Thank you. And it's wonderful to meet you, Ms. Maxwell. I'll be throwing a moving-in party (once I'm actually completely unpacked, of course) soon, I'd love to see you there. If you can make it, of course. I'm sure you're quite a busy woman.

Of course, you don't have to wait that long to swing by either, if you don't want to. I don't think I've ever said no to a pretty girl coming over if she felt the need, and I'm not about to start now.

Well, yeah. They, um.. died of AIDS. Which I know will probably make you think that I've got it too, but I've been tested every month for the past two years and haven't popped positive on it, so before you start freaking out on me, just know that.

My friend has a dog at her apartment. However, I do not know if she needed to get special permission or anything to have him there. That probably didn't help you very much. I'm Rylee Ekholm, welcome to the apartment complex. If you happen to need any help with moving in, I'll be terrified you'll want me to help happy to help.

Hahaha, well, I did consider just taking the liberty of sneaking one in and letting the consequences fall wherever they did, but I thought I'd be the good tenant first and ask. But you never know. A little rulebreaking never scared me off.

And it's nice to meet you. I could always use the help if you aren't doing anything, but far be it for me to tell anyone what they need to do. I'll compensate you for your time in some form or fashion.

You could always do that, I suppose. I weight lift... not excessively or anything, but what I'm saying is that I can help move furniture or anything like that. Way to ramble. You wouldn't have to compensate me or anything!

Welcome to the area!! I'm Lily Castle and if you need anything let me know! I love to cook as well, we should trade recipes at some point. It's sweet of you to announce a moved in party, I would be happy to attend so long as I'm free, whenever the day the party is!

And I'm very sorry for your recent loss.

Thank you! It's lovely to meet you, Ms. Castle. And I would love to trade recipes, but I will say that most of them are in my head - and my greatest work is improvised. But if you have a free evening one day, I'd love to share the kitchen with you. We can each make our favorite dish.

Hopefully it will be within the next week. Or two. It's very high on my to-do list to get everything unpacked, but with how long everything has been in storage since I sold my house.. well, I'd forgotten just how much crap I've accumulated over the years. Haha. So I'll be sure to let you know.

And thank you. That means more than you know.

You can just call me Lily! You know, that sounds like a wonderful idea! I rarely get to cook with anyone else. It would be great to share the kitchen with you. Maybe once you're all settled in we can do this.

Moving has a tendency to cause you to downgrade considerably with what you already own, at least that's been my experience with my moves.

You're welcome. Death is always extremely hard to handle. I understand. If you need anything... I'm in 605. I would be happy to provide a listening ear.

Since I've been outed, I've got a dog. Some pain-in-the-ass extra paperwork and a sizable pet deposit got me leave to keep him on the premises.

Hello. I live just down from you, in D5. Kit Elizabeth. I'm handy with computers if you need anything.

And there will be some warning on this party, yes? I'm not a fan of crowds, so I likely won't be attending.

Haha, well, it's nice to meet you, Kit. And it's very difficult to throw a party without inviting people, so yes, I'll be sure to let everyone know. I'll try to keep it as low-key as possible, so as not to intrude.
