There wasn't a ballet to prepare for, so the company was calmer as a whole over the summer. But calmer in the ballet world was probably still hectic for a good many people, but hectic was kind of good in Devri's eyes. At least if her life was hectic she wasn't reminded of the things she currently did not have, she wasn't reminded that her dating life was non-existent and pretty much her social life consisted of Laine and August. Dance was a good escape, work she was just like everyone else, actually she had more at work than she did outside of it. But she wasn't dwelling on that, things always happened for a reason and she very strongly believed that.
Things were just wrapping up as she and Laine sat off to the side as a couple of their company members danced. "August told me the other day that I don't get out enough," she commented as she glanced over at Laine. "I'm totally realizing he's right, not that I admitted that to him," Dev laughed softly as she said that last part. "He also said something about you dragging me out on some blind date/double date type of thing, that part I completely ignored." Really she didn't think her roommates should get much say in if she dated or not, but that didn't seem to stop August and sometimes J.J. from commented on her absences of a social life. "Generally I try to ignore ninety percent of what he says," she added as an after thought, really in all honesty she only ignored the comments he made that just made her realize she really was too much of a homebody, even for her.
