Laine screwed her face up at Dev’s last statement. She didn’t entirely agree with that; Kris was one of the easier men to partner, he was more versatile than some of their male dancers, but everyone was entitled to their own opinion. “Just years of dancing with him love,” she replied. “We’ve got each other figured out.” And she could admit that Kris had a style that complemented her own well. It was part of the reason they were partnered quite often, they did work well together. Though, if given the opportunity she thought that Kris could partner anyone passably; she could too, but she’d had less success than him.
“It’d be nice.” An outside set of eyes could see what she and Kris couldn’t, and Dev was usually pretty thoughtful with her critiques. She laughed at the change of topic, it really wasn’t subtle be she could work with it. “He has. He’s a real fan,” she replied with a wiggle of her eyebrows, unable to resist the opening that Dev had given her. “He’s seen the company perform too,” she added. She couldn’t say he was a fan of the ballet, but she appreciated that he had come out to see her perform.
