[Normally Winry likes to go on walks through the park around midday, but today's not such a good idea for that. She ran into the special set-up there, packed with people, and recalled there was some sort of holiday today. She's not one for religion, so she decided to avoid it and go do something else to relax for a bit. Even she can only spend so much time cooped up reading or working before she wants a bit of sunlight and fresh air.

Remembering the beach, she decided to check it out. After a quick stop to the clothing store, she's made her way down there with a simple but stylish bikini and sarong, plus a small duffel bag with her clothes and a towel in it.

She's never even seen the real sea back home, so she doesn't want to go too deep, especially on her own - she's only swam in pond and bathtubs in the past due Resembool's distance from the sea, so it's a little different. Still, she wants to give it a try. Leaving the sarong and her communicator on a towel on the beach, she wades out into it and kicks around a bit as the weak waves beat in on the beach.

A bit of the water gets on her lips, and she tastes the brine of the water and laughs.] No wonder they call it salt water!

Anyone else expecting some kind of bloody, cursed Easter egg hunt before the day's over?

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get everything together, but I have a list possible subjects for the school as well as people who may be interested in teaching them. I made copies and put it up in the common room of the shelter. Please feel free to add to it. Some things may need to be combined into one class like the various sciences. I left extra sheets of paper if you'd like to make additional notes. Or you can just talk to me directly! I put names down to everything they said they might be interested in, but I'm sure they don't really want to have such a heavy class load, so please feel free to add your name anywhere and we can sort things out later.

We are making progress on the location and supplies. [Because Cornelia is working on that!] And I believe Kaoru and Hikaru are working on uniform designs. [She's not entirely sure she got a final answer on that.]

To those who actually care, Battler Ushiromiya is missing. I myself have not heard from him for more than a few days, and I doubt others have either. This would lead to the conclusion that he's not here or he's very good at hiding. He's always sucked at hide and seek however so I prefer the prior assumption rather than the latter.

Well...It's about time the idiotic liar left this place. No one needs to deal with his womanizing, free running hands anyway.

Her mind is made up. She's going to talk to Euphie about the SAZ records. It's just a matter of finding the right time and not avoiding her younger sister any longer.]

[It's been a bad day for Akito.

Acumen told him this morning that his brother was gone...Akito hadn't wanted to believe it, but Kaito was nowhere to be found...his head hurt and he was so tired, but he'd tried to find Kaito still...but he was gone...

And now...now Tsuna was back. But without any memories. And it hurt. It hurt so much to think that Tsuna didn't remember him. For once, Akito's finding himself wishing someone had never returned. He didn't want another Tsuna, he wanted the one he'd gotten to know and like...really like...

He's wondering if his brother will return...and if he'll remember. If Kaito comes back without remembering...

Akito's legs crash out from under him, dumping him on his knees in the park. He's trying not to cry, but the tears roll down his face anyway. He's so tired....he drags himself to the base of a tree and curls up, back against it. Head buries in his knees as the sobs tear free.

Where's Agito...he wants his other. He's so tired...]

[Gatomon's been wandering around again, exploring this place. This time she's discovered the butterfly pavilion; standing upright as she watches the beautiful creatures fly around. One lands briefly on her paw before taking off again. She had been planning on making a network post, but now her mood changes, and the words broadcast are different to what she intended]

I'm beginning to wonder just what kind of place I've ended up in... [She knew it was different to anywhere she'd been before, but...]

I've aah...I've noticed that there's a certain tendency toward the holidays here being--

Weeeeell, they're all Earth holidays, for one. And everyone here can't be from Earth, can they? It's just...a bit...humanocentric, especially when there's so many other brilliant holidays out in the universe! And...would I be wrong to assume that the holidays are generally Christian? I remember a few that have been Japanese as well, but...

Well, only acknowledging the Christian holiday of Easter...I find it just a bit difficult to believe that coincidentally, every day here only matches up to either a Christian or Japanese holiday. Not that I don't love those holidays! I'm a fan of chocolate and presents and good cheer and getting together as much as the next sentient being who's into that sort of thing but---oh! And that's another issue. Not recognising anyone who just recognises the holiday for its ideals! You know, like I said! Only organising a church service, well. I don't find that very inclusive. A bit overbearing, if anything. Couldn't there be several official events? Egg hunt, available chocolate, maybe even a belated Seder, or Wiccan celebration of the Vernal Equinox, or Holi or, well, there's any number. I'm not going to keep listing, I mean, that's still only Earth holidays and look at everything already being left out! Not to mention, is White Day ever going to be celebrated or will the system of gift-giving for any Japanese inmates who participated in Valentine's Day remain unfairly one-way? Just a thought.

I'm not saying anyone should stop being religious, obviously, even if I personally prefer the secular aspects of the holidays. I just--I just don't think it's fair, that's all.
