[You won't hear them coming. You won't see their snare. The mistletoe bots are out and they're hunting you, two by two. You can run and you can hide, but eventually you will be caught, and then there's nothing left to do but kiss your way out!

[This might be Chekov's first encounter with mistletoe-toting robots that like to trap their victims in force fields, but compulsory kissing is something that he has experienced before. It happened more than once in the City; it will probably happen on the Enterprise before the end of her five-year mission. He sees no sense in being overly concerned about the bots. What's a kiss between friends (and acquaintances and possibly even strangers)?

He goes about his day as usual, visiting the library and otherwise attempting to occupy himself.]

[Kissing a girl. Wow. Well. It's not like Korra's never done it before, but those were all exceptional circumstances — Hei being a girl, and that one curse she tries very much not to think about. You could call this one a curse in the sense that she hadn't particularly wanted to kiss Kitty, but it hadn't messed with her head.

She really does like it.

Distracted as she is by this revelation, Korra forgets to check for a mistletoe bot when she sees Chekov.]
