	[She actually felt like things went fairly smoothly with Helix from the beginning so that brings her no comfort. It does make her understand why Aidan might enjoy living with Sougo though.] I... Oh! Okay. [ He gives her a crooked smile, hand moving up to cup her cheek, thumb brushing against the skin. He really doesn't mind kissing Euphie and although he misses Helix enough to walk with a constant ache in his chest, it's kind of nice to know that he'll never find out. As stressful as life is, it'll be a little less so today than it could've been.

He leans in to capture her lips, kissing her slow and sweet. A proper fairytale kiss. He is a knight after all. ]

[ It's been just about two weeks since Helix disappeared. Two weeks is nothing but at the same time it can feel like months when you're suddenly abandoned and also in your early twenties. It's not that he's been lacking that much in physical contact, but it hasn't been the right kind and now that he's kissing a girl he always assumed he could fall for had things been different, it's painfully clear just what kind he's been yearning for.

He pushes into the kiss a little, completely oblivious to whether or not the confetti has popped. ]

[She's never had large amounts of physical affection. She's usually the one initiating when she has any, but it's not because she has a small need for it. She's just learned how to survive always a little touch starved. On days like today it can be easy to give in just a little. Enjoy it just a bit longer. But this particular day makes it all the more intense when she's drowning in feelings of loss and lack of connection. How can she not push further into what connections she has left?

So of course she will. Open and responsive to his touch.

[ His hand slides back through her hair, cupping the back of her head as he parts his lips further. This is such dangerous territory but she feels so good and it's been forever since he kissed a girl. Nothing wrong with boys, but he kind of started out with girls and for the longest time he thought that was what he was supposed to like. It's stirring up a whole lot of old urges, that's for sure and after a moment he has to force himself to break the kiss.

Not that he pulls away far. Just enough to lean their foreheads together, eyes practically black with how much his pupils have dilated. Definitely out of breath too, and even more out of words. ]

[Somewhere in the last stretch of that kiss the simple seeking of affection managed to get her heart beating faster, cheeks flushed and feeling breathless. Once they've parted there is a small, somewhat involuntary dip as if to reconnected, but she stops herself or Aidan's forehead against hers stops her. Regardless they are very close as they sit in the pet cafe. The bot is long gone.]

...The barrier's gone.

And no. Helix just disappeared. He could come back and even if he doesn't, Aidan is loyal to a fault. He bows his head, hand brushing through his own hair now in an effort to pull himself together and calm the hell down. ]

	No, no, you don't have anything to apologize for. [She couldn't even tell who was pushing the kiss on more. Her cheeks still feel awfully warm. She had never thought about Aidan that way because of Helix.
