[Right, someone has to initiate this and Ianto supposes since he does quite a bit more with kissing men - which, to be fair, is what is making this whole situation so awkward for him on so many levels here - its probably his job to make this happen or they'll just be stuck standing here all day. Its impossible not to have to get closer, since Sam is so damn tall so he rests a hand on the side of his face, pulls him down a bit more to his level - seriously, seriously tall - and kisses him with just enough intensity to satisfy the bot before letting him go. There. Could be worse.]

[Sam is not sure what's worse. Kissing men on days like this or being kissed by men on days like this, but he definitely does the last part to himself with the avoidance. So he has no one to blame for the hand on his face or the firmly placed lips against his but himself.

Why so short, Ianto?

In the file of things he's not going to bring up can go the thought that Ianto is better at it than Cas. Thanks for that knowledge, prison.

He lets out a breath when the confetti falls and he pulls back to his regular height. No special bot this time at least. He does manage to move normally rather than jerking away or something.]

[As for Ianto his list of male partners begins and ends with Jack, unless you count kisses on mistletoe days, which he generally doesn't. He always finds them a bit awkward and uncomfortable, regardless of gender, because he feels like his sexuality makes it weird for everyone. In the end though he supposes it doesn't really matter; he can look at Sam and find him attractive but nothing more than that; his world has begun and ended with Jack since the first time they met and he's never been able to have eyes for anyone else.

All of which to say he puts on a smile that's nearly normal at the end of the kiss and does his best not to over-think it.]

Sorry. That's always a bit awkward, isn't it?

	[He shrugs a little awkwardly.] A bit, but if I couldn't handle it we wouldn't have been together as long as we have. He's from a different time and in some ways its just a cultural difference.
