Day 221 — Morning mingle : Main shelter
[Wake up and smell the lack of coffee. You're on a bunk bed. Maybe you're a top and maybe you're a bottom. There are five other people in your room. Maybe they're friends or enemies or faces you barely recognize if at all. It doesn't matter much. You can leave this room and you don't need to come back to it.

You should get your rations though. You're probably hungry. You're definitely a little sluggish of body. What happened to that bruise you got sparing yesterday? What happened to your newly dyed hair? Mystery, mystery... Move along. Find the public bathrooms and do your business with a hundred of your closest friends.

Find the kiosk and get your rations. Careful not to let anyone steal them. You won't get more until tomorrow and the bots won't care. They aren't here to hold your hand. If you get sick or hurt and they deem it necessary they will take you to the hospital whether you wish it or not. But why dwell on such things? You're here now and you might as well enjoy it. You even get a free day today.]

Okay... let's get this straight. [ He takes a step back, if only because he thinks a whole lot better when he has a little more space. ] After the last transfer, we didn't have any of these physical effects... right? And we had most if not all of our personal things with us. The only thing that's the same are the jumpsuits and even that's... different.

Did anything change during the coup? I mean... do you remember not having an item with you or missing something else..?

	On the surface, this is more like the transfer to MarinaNova... but the physical effects strongly resemble what we experienced during the coup. [ It doesn't make sense. I don't know... but it makes sense, doesn't it? We weren't supposed to see what Sentience ended up showing us and I doubt they thought we'd find out about the body storage-

The body storage hosts everyone who's been here and disappeared, right? And during the coup, I heard about people finding their friends deep asleep in their beds... they weren't able to wake them up. No one was awake aside from the group that went with Sentience. [ A beat. ] I think we've been asleep all this time.

She wants to disagree. She wants to point something out to say, no that's not true because of this thing I'm pointing out! And while her head does spin with questions and reservations and wild speculation it's fresh out of solid proof.]

If that is true [Starting slowly.] then why now? [Why all of it? But she has to start somewhere.]

Maybe. [So many questions.] Why build an actual underwater prison if you are just going to keep people asleep? Even if it was to keep us contained if something went wrong, why make it look exactly like what we saw in our minds? [She's trying to remember if her room looked different at all, but the power had been off. Things were dark even with a handy flashlight. How could she tell if things were a little out of place? Maybe it wasn't exact. It's not like she went exploring. They had a mission. It looked close enough. She didn't go check to see if they really had a beach or a bowling alley. Why would she? Why would any of them?]

We don't know how accurate it was... and maybe they needed the structures to make the illusion complete? It still doesn't make perfect sense, but seeing as how little we actually know about our captors...
