Day 221 — Morning mingle : Main shelter
[Wake up and smell the lack of coffee. You're on a bunk bed. Maybe you're a top and maybe you're a bottom. There are five other people in your room. Maybe they're friends or enemies or faces you barely recognize if at all. It doesn't matter much. You can leave this room and you don't need to come back to it.

You should get your rations though. You're probably hungry. You're definitely a little sluggish of body. What happened to that bruise you got sparing yesterday? What happened to your newly dyed hair? Mystery, mystery... Move along. Find the public bathrooms and do your business with a hundred of your closest friends.

Find the kiosk and get your rations. Careful not to let anyone steal them. You won't get more until tomorrow and the bots won't care. They aren't here to hold your hand. If you get sick or hurt and they deem it necessary they will take you to the hospital whether you wish it or not. But why dwell on such things? You're here now and you might as well enjoy it. You even get a free day today.]

[Sam has had rough mornings before, but he's having a hard time shaking this one off, but that's what he needs to do. He needs to get up, move around, explore this new prison and figure out...everything. Should be easy. He can probably do that before a hearty breakfast of 1/8th cabbage.]

	[ elena's long left the rations line in favor of seeking out everyone she knows. food and drink really has no priority over that. she spots sam by the kiosk and approaches him - more like bee-lines. relief washes over her, and concern - and she feels a little better knowing that at least maybe they can figure this out together. ] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Sam. [ her voice is lower, his name spoken on a grateful sigh, but the relief is abundant. she wasn't exactly going in for a hug either, yet the moment she's close enough, she reaches for him.

she clings to his shoulders, closes her eyes for a blissful moment. she doesn't feel alone. ] Hey. [ it's concern that hasn't her pulling back some, one of her hands squeezing his shoulder as her feet hit the ground. ] You okay?

[ it takes her a moment (she's said she's fine all morning, but the truth is slightly more complicated - nothing's ever really fine and definitely not here - but she'll be fine) before she nods decisively, reassuringly. plays with his collar with her fingers for a short moment. ] I'm glad you're safe too.

It's on again and he even manages to do some of that pulling away so there can be more looking at each other and talking like two separate people and not one giant Samlena monster.] Yes.
