[ when Nyota had woken up that morning (early, as usual), she'd found all of the shirts in her wardrobe replaced by one particularly ugly and possibly nsfw sweater. and try as she might to search for something else, short of wearing a sheet for the rest of the day or just forgoing clothes all together, there was no other option. she had to wear the sweater. no choice.

she hated being forced to do anything.

wearing an extremely unhappy look, you might run into her around the Enterprise (if you have reason to be there), around town doing some Christmas shopping, or wandering around the residential districts. she's so upset by this sweater business, she hasn't even noticed the mistletoe that has cropped up around the area - because honestly? mistletoe here?

[Khan had memorized the layout of the capital building, with its 42 floors, each with a varying number of rooms. He'd only done a preliminary sweep before, when they'd won the battle. There'd even been a few Cultists left over, stranglers who must've not had a chance to escape, but he had made short of work of them. Or taken them prisoner if they seemed at all useful.

But now, this time, Khan intended to search every room. He'd already put some of his troops on it, and told them to radio him if they found anything useful or interesting. Part of the garrison that was left guarding the tower gave him a nod as he passed through the doors.

The first floor was nothing particularly spectacular and had nothing to it that he could find, either. So he got into the elevator and headed up to the second floor. Apart from whatever the Cult may have been up to, he wanted to find the machine that the System had used to bring everyone here. Find it, and figure out how it worked.]

Who: Prisoners of C'Vorti, The C'Meni and The Headless Horseman
What: After having radioed out to the city, Khan and Kirk have mustered enough items to start an attempt of breaking out of C'Vorti. With a few C'Meni at their aid, the Prisoners are going to attempt breaking out of their ruined city prison.

The Princess had decided it was best to trust those Honored Guests who were in prison with them. While she knew their faces, the man known as Khan was not one she knew well. Her people worried about the looming ship of his. Distant memories of the near mythical past of Mandalus's days in space floated around. The Princess was quick to silence the talk but knew it was in the back of their minds. Even so, she offered the man any soldier of hers that would be willing to go with him. They had few left and she made sure the Augment knew such things before allowing any of her people to go with them. Their kind was soon to be extinct.

Despite that the Princess had also organized her people to be back up. If they were able to brace themselves out of the prison, then they would have one shot at it. Her people arrived at the meeting point, there to aid the Honored Guests.

They had no idea that P'Tyara and the others were on the other side. All that Iafara knew was that Khan had made contact with another.

What: Upon arriving, Julian's been arrested and tossed into prison again because he is just having none of the luck.

What: A meeting in the forest, after accidentally locating Khan's troops.

Notes: None!

Luke had been living in the forest since he'd arrived here, used to it, from the roughing it to even the occasional nightmarish creature wandering around in it. He had backbiter, his wits, and a plan of action. It was all he needed to forge forward.

Unfortunately, the quiet life outside of the cityscape proper had recently been encroached upon by a not unlarge group. He'd scouted them out; trainees, by the looks of them, and by the drills; and had made an approach on the encampment. He wasn't sure what he'd done to trigger their notice and give himself away, but, ten minutes later, here he was: three guys down, one in a headlock, backbiter to his neck.

"You have about three seconds to tell me whose in charge here, before I forget how to be diplomatic."

When: July 17th, shortly after escorting Clara and the kid back to the tower and this.
What: Khan talks to Pepper while he cleans up his bullet wound

[After he'd left Clara and the child in the lobby, and gotten his hands on some forceps, rubbing alcohol, and bandages from the first aid station (they'd offered to help, but he preferred to just do it himself, alone) Khan headed off to the kitchens, mostly because they were empty. Well, for now anyway.

He took another look at the bullet wound then. He hadn't really lost a lot of blood, and the pain was still nothing more than a dull ache. Still, he pulled off his coat and set it aside, rolling his sleeve up past the wound. Both caused a slight stab in the pain, but it was gone a few moments later.

It wasn't that any this really bothered him that much (he'd had worse), but he hoped that saving Clara had been worth his time, regardless of how easy it was.]

[How familiar. The white walls, the bright lights, the glass. And this time, he didn't want to be here. He would rather be anywhere else in this damned place than here. But thanks to Uhura's arrival and her revealing his identity to the others. And he had no reason to believe she had told Kirk any less than everything that had happened.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, he watched his surroundings carefully, taking note of the number of guards and the frequency they changed shifts. Kirk was, evidently, taking no chances, as there were two security guards in the halls outside. He noted, over the course of several days, the routines of the guards, their idle conversation (he couldn't hear it as well as he should've been able to; probably that damn bangle), and their faces. Three times each day they'd bring him food, and each time he tried to speak to any of them, they would ignore him.

He slept only occasionally, preferring to make them think he was asleep rather than actually sleeping. They talked more freely when they thought he wasn't listening, but sometimes he'd drift off for three or four hours. He adjusted well enough to the fact that they never turned off the lights, and the less than comfortable bed. He'd long since grown used to both those things anyway.]

[Uhura didn't waste any time when she found out Khan's location. As soon as she had used the sensors to pinpoint him, she grabbed her phaser, and called together a quick group of crewmembers for a planetside search party. Their mission?]

Capture, do not kill, the criminal known as Khan. Be warned, he is vicious. Even without his powers he is going to be a danger to every last one of us. So keep your phasers on stun, and do not wander off on your own. I want constant communication between everyone, and if we don't hear someone answer, we fall back to the transporter location. We clear? Good.

[She stepped on the pad, nodding to the crewman manning the transporter beam.] Energize.
