Imagine, if you will, a magical village that’s unplottable, inescapable, and inexplicable. No one knows how they found themselves in this village, but what they soon find out is that almost all aspects of life in this village are controlled by Rita Skeeter. She knows your deepest, darkest secret -- the one you would never reveal to a single soul -- and if you refuse to play by her rules, she has promised to expose you. What’s more? Your secret will be revealed and you will never be able to return to the time and place you left. There will be only one escape: death.

Though your leisure time will be your own, you must live and work where she tells you. She will assign you an occupation, a place to live, and grant you a reasonable allowance to begin your new life in Lockewood Village.

The additional twist? Individuals from all times may be transported to Lockewood Village at any point in their life. Their presence will not affect the outcomes of the main timeline. Tom Riddle’s presence will not remove Lord Voldemort or prevent the First or Second Wars. New relationships may be flourish, but they will not prevent anyone from being married or born. Lockewood Village exists on a whole separate plane of reality.

Five years after Sunnydale was swallowed by the earth, it's back. Or a reasonable facsimile at least. Built over the ruins of the old town, the newly named Prescott Valley has been billed as a shining oasis full of new houses and families. A mere two hour drive from LA, Prescott Valley has cinemas, schools, a mall, several Starbucks... in short, all the amenities you would expect to find in a freshly built town.

And one that you wouldn't.

Deep below the town, something else has been rebuilt: the Hellmouth. Called to this portal between Earth and the Underworld is the Source, in the body of Cole Turner. In a last ditch effort to win his love back, Cole made a deal to take the Source into his body in exchange for actually getting a body. However, Cole was not as powerful as he thought and his plan to double cross the Source failed.

Working with the First, the two Biggest Bads of all time are slowly but surely taking over the town of Prescott Valley, on their way to dominating the world. Tentative news of increased supernatural activity has reached the ears of the Good, however and protectors the likes of the Slayers, the Charmed Ones and others have begun trickling back into the area to investigate. Unbeknownst to most of the Prescott Valleyians, humans have been recruited, lured with promises of power and riches, and slowly the town is decaying again.

In this epic battle of Good versus Evil, who's side will you be on?

Second Coming is a roleplay community set in the year 2238 in the fictional city of New Jerusalem. A re-enactment of the life of Christ, as well as Revelations (trust us, it almost makes sense!), Second Coming replaces religion with politics, and is currently looking for the vast majority of the cast of the Bible. All characters are based on characters from the Bible, although how closely they resemble the original character is based on the player's discrimination. Plenty of chance for freebased plot guided by the mods, as well as a long-term planned plot, Second Coming expects competency and activity while ensuring a healthy and happy ooc community as well. Angels, Demons, Apostles, Old Testament Personalities all are needed and welcomed at Second Coming!

The Most Dangerous Game is an RPG that will follow along the course of the current season of Heroes; specifically during the course of Volume Four: Fugitives. PREMISE
*You wake up to the smell of smoke.* In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. *You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.* Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. ...And then came the final dream, The Night Island.

From dusk till dawn the Island played host to all flavors of tourism. It became a mortal and immortal playground, offering five dazzling glass stories of theaters, restaurants, shops and casinos. Music plays eternally in the halls and on the dance floors, and famous musicians are enticed from all over the world to play the bars and theaters. All of this surrounded what appeared to be the focal point of a large jungle that played host to all manner of exotic birds.

On the Island you could buy anything from leather to lace, rare diamonds and records, food from every country and a plethora of anything from chintz to chotskies. A mixture of old and new combined with luxuriant scents and extravagant dining.

The residents of the Island consist of recluse and private Millionaires to the average income workers and owners of the shops. All of which find pleasing accommodations in The Night Island Palazzo. Peace and tranquility can be found in your own private suite or apartment, located adjacent to the bustling night life of miniature city.

It is the summer of 1971 and all around Britain and new year of students are receiving their Hogwarts letters- pureblood, halfbloods and muggleborns alike. Follow these students through their summer and the coming year at Hogwarts. What will happen to them? Will their choices impact their already formed friendships? Will they bend to societies prejudices or tread their own path? Only time will tell.

Tom Riddle, now known as Lord Voldemort to a select few, has resurfaced and is gathering followers to fight a war of Blood Purity. Will your
character join him or fight for the ministry or Dumbledore? Perhaps they will stay neutral. Only time will tell.

The Beginning is a Harry Potter Roleplay set in 1971, the Marauders first year at Hogwarts. All characters who are alive in that year are available to play even if they are no longer in Hogwarts, plenty of things are going on in the rest of the Wizarding World. This is an AU game as you are not expected to stick with canon. Severus can become friends with the Marauders, Narcissa can like Amelia Bones... anything goes.

At the mark of the 22nd century, the human race finally cracked the code on intergalactic space travel, allowing anyone and everyone to explore the deep levels of space. New galaxies were found as alien races were discovered. Humans finally realized that they weren’t the only people in the universe, let alone the smartest race. Humanity struggled to find its place in the newly discovered community of races and most humans dwindled away, never to be seen again. As new technologies were discovered, the 'aliens' found out how much they really held a distaste for the humans. About Lakefront

Lake Flannery is a fictional town located near a lake in the state of New Hampshire. Though not all residents reside right on the lake, there is a community of slightly wealthier, slightly more well-to-do residents who own lakefront homes and homes with lake access. Lakefront is a thread-based RPG for original characters which focuses on the lives of the people who live in these homes. Characters of all ages are welcome, including teenagers and senior citizens, and we welcome any and all faces as PBs. At this time, adds are done three times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Wanted Characters

At the moment, though we have an active core group of writers, we are looking to diversify our group of characters a little bit and bring in some new blood to spice things up. Future plot opportunities, such as a possible murder in the small town community, a lakeside carnival, and a mayoral election will be that much more fun with a few more personalities to throw into the mix. We are looking for pretty much any interesting character who could fit into a laidback, but active town-based game. About Eggs & Toast

Betty's Diner is a fictional business located in the real small town of Bigfork, Montana. Based on a song by Carrie Newcomer, Eggs & Toast is a thread-based RPG for original characters who frequent the diner and live and work in Bigfork. The game is brand-new - it just opened today, March 22nd - so many faces have yet to be claimed, and our members are eager to develop new plots and storylines. Adds will take place again tomorrow night, and at least twice more this week as we welcome more new members into the fold.
