[The Oldest House is a panfandom RPG with action and horror elements inspired by the video game Control, and other liminal space/science-fiction horror]
So maybe it isn't as normal as one thought. That could be because a year ago a large empty metropolitan city appeared in Delaware. It was soon followed by the appearance of individuals the world once only knew as fiction. Soon after a mysterious organization calling themselves the Multiversal Acclimation Ministry (M.A.M for short) arrived to lend their resources to this mass disaster of the multiverse.
Apparently, there was yet another multiverse crisis and now refugees have found themselves displaced on Earth. This one. A world where magic didn't exist. Superheroes didn't fly by stopping crime. Well, that's out the window now.
Thanks to M.A.M, the displaced have found themselves starting their new lives in the city that was dubbed Metropolis (it was really hard to ignore the Daily Planet building) and the world may not be what one would expect after all.
2018 was the year of The Great Failing. The world over, monarchies fell. Governments, law enforcement and militaries and other authorities disbanded. Even the Council of Mages was abolished.
For a few thousand years, as chaos ensued and the world fell further and further into dystopia, a few hopeful people tried unsuccessfully to turn back the tide. Until one day in 3517, a young apprentice mage - hoping to safeguard the future of makind - led as many innocents as she could to a previously undiscovered underground cave and, a year later - in 3518 - attempted to open an outgoing portal to a parallel world, with the intention of bringing them all back when it was safe.
But, due to her youthful inexperience, the mage's spell went wrong and, instead of creating a portal, she created several one way time slips, bringing people from different realities and time periods into her world, and trapping the cave and everyone in it - including those who come through the time slips - inside a time bubble that keeps them in 3518, where they have remained and thrived, ageless, for the last century and a half in real time. Upon arrival everyone is provided a cellphone, laptop, a small amount of money to get them started so they can find work, and keys to a home where they can set up residence. It is then left in their hands to decide how to live their lives in this new place.

You live it every day. It's difficult, it's riddled with uncertainty, and it is filled with joy, love, disappointment and pain. But sometimes you have a feeling that this is not your life. It's a feeling that can't be explained, but you spend your life trying to explain it, trying to make sense of it. Valar explores a duality embodied within each character. One version of the self exists in Orange County, living a life that seems ordinary, sounds ordinary, feels ordinary. The real self, whatever that might mean, exists only in a time and place which you are just starting to remember. As characters grow and live and interact with each other, they embark on a journey to piece together fragments of their half-forgotten dreams. They have to come to terms with who they really are, and what this life means to them. [FAQ] [Rules] [Drop Box] [Application] [Wanted] [Holds] [Taken] |
We are a Panfandom RPG that takes place on a subtropical barrier island based on Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Characters arrive on the sandy beach with a backpack beside them that includes a cell phone, the key to a beachfront condo, and a pre-paid debit card loaded with $1000 to cover initial expenses while the character gets used to their new surroundings.
There is no note or any explanation of how they have arrived there, or why.
This is a game that prioritizes character development and CR over character hoarding and complex plots. While plots can and will occur, they will be simple in nature and allow plenty of room for characters to do with them whatever they wish.
This is an old school game for players who want to write and develop their characters more than they want to make fancy journals. Because certain adult themes will be permitted, players must be 18+.
We are a BRAND NEW GAME and almost all characters are still available, so if you're hoping to snag that hard-to-get character, stop by - there's a good chance they're still available!
Game will be opening August 24th!!!
Or so it seemed.
Less than a week later, rifts and portals began to open randomly in Sunnydale, leaving behind items, people, and creatures. Unfortunately, these rifts also began taking as much as they left behind. It wasn't long before Buffy was the only one of her former "Scooby Gang" left standing. All she could do now was guard the Hellmouth and hope the rifts and portals stayed localized to Sunnydale.
Welcome to Sunnydale, where you may get a new lease on life... As long as you can avoid the vampires, demons, and whatever the rifts leave behind.
Hellmouth is a panfandom game, where characters find themselves thrust into the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, circa 2001.
As you rise, you discover that you are on an island. It's hard to say where the island is, but you can tell by the position of the sun (and the stars at night) that you're at a rather low latitude, and on Earth. It's not tiny, but it's not large, either. You could walk the perimeter of it in a couple of hours if you walked quickly. It's lush, green, and the middle part rises above you, full of thick undergrowth and undoubtedly a good number of surprises.
Not long after, a young woman approaches you. Or at least, she appears to be young. It's hard to say exactly how old she is, or exactly what she is, but she is beautiful beyond measure, with olive skin, black hair, and almond shaped eyes. She tells you that her name is Ava, and that she is the protector of this island. She tells you that she has brought you here, and that while you may not leave, she will do her best to see that you are as happy as possible. Her answers are vague and often incomplete, but there is no sense of danger. She is not here to hurt you. She does, however, exude a power beyond anything you have ever experienced...
maroonedrpg is an 18+ panfandom RPG that takes place on a deserted island watched over by a strong and undefined supernatural force. It is a survival game, but in the best sense - this is not a place where survival will be difficult. The land is lush and full of things to eat and drink. It is also a game that encourages character development. While there may be an occasional gamewide plot, the game will focus more on examining your characters and finding their strengths and weakness when they find themselves tested by a new way of life.

welcome toTAMRIELan elder scrolls panfandom rpg
Tamriel is dangerous. If the flora and fauna don't kill you first, the cutthroat bandits or harsh weather might. Come explore Skyrim and perhaps even the neighboring regions of Cyrodiil and Solstheim. Have a taste of the hunter-gatherer lifestyle as you pick snowberries from Winterhold or enjoy a well-earned steak from a recent hunt. Perhaps your mettle will even win you a place among Skyrim's warrior nobles or a new family among the Companions of Jorrvaskr. If you die, may you die with a sword in your hand.
