It's been almost a month since the Battle of Hogwarts. The dead have been buried, though mourning continues, and the living must try to rebuild the shattered remains of the wizarding world. The group of people Kingsley Shacklebolt has assembled to help do this are dubbed the Phoenix Administration by the media. Not only are he and several of his cabinet members part of the Order of the Phoenix, the phoenix itself symbolizes rebirth from the ashes and seems wholly appropriate. Everyone acknowledges that the next several months - if not years - will be a challenge. Muggle-borns must be re-acclimatized into the society that has shunned them, and those involved with Voldemort or the Muggle-born Registration Commission must be persued and prosecuted. Kingsley knows that that many Purebloods are uncomfortable with returning Muggle-borns and their influence and that many of these Muggle-borns are bitter and distrustful of wizarding society. Making a new and better wizarding world can - and will - be done. However with wizarding citizens on all sides distrustful of government, it won't be easy. The Phoenix Administration is a post-Deathly Hallows, pre-epilogue Harry Potter roleplaying game. It will focus on the reconstruction of the wizarding world, with an emphasis on how those who were directly affected by the war get on in the new society that is being created. |
