This is a perilous time for every witch and wizard, no matter whether they have already chosen a loyalty or resist getting any more involved than they absolutely must. As the Centaurs read in the fires and stars, the time between two wars ended many months ago, and now witches and wizards across Britain will find their character tested. Who will acquiesce? Who will revolt? Who will do their best to keep from choosing a side? Most importantly, who will survive?

The moderators are seeking players eager to write collaboratively with one another, who want a highly active yet short-term game where they can richly bring a character or two fully to life during some of their most defining moments. Could this be you?

Then there was Dumbledore. He had made his way to Severus straight after putting the ring on. His hand was fully healed. Now all he had to deal with was Draco planning on killing him. Of course, Dumbledore had a plan to stop this. Like everything else he had planned for. It was a complicated plan but he was sure he could pull it off.

Not long before that fateful night, he had peformed a complicated bit of magic, one that was nearly forgotten which allowed him to fake his death that night on the Astronomy Tower. He knew it had to be done, after all he had to make sure the war went the way he wanted it. It was for the 'Greater Good' after all. Who else could be trusted to ensure it went how he wanted to? No one, therefore he had to do this. Not even Severus knew what he had planned.

The Puppet Master an AU Post-HBP roleplay where Dumbledore faked his death in hoping of continuing his plans for the greater good. The plans that would make the war continue how he wanted them to. Plans he couldn't trust to anyone else.

WHAT'S THE WORSE THAT COULD HAPPEN?
We're a small, friendly Marauders era community that are looking for a few more characters before we can get this road trip going!

CAST LIST | APPLICATION

As is usually the case with brilliant ideas, this one came about after one too many firewhiskeys. When most of the students in their year were talking about getting jobs, a few lads in their dorm-room decided that they (it wasn't stated who they were, but we can assume James meant The Man) could shove their work placements and minimum wage. The rest of night was spent concocting a plan that still had weight when they awoke with heavy heads and sandpaper tongues. The plan started simple: to buy a car. This resulted in a massive argument regarding the benefits of having a bike instead of a car (Sirius and James being Team Bike; Remus and Peter being Team Car -- the second group knowing all too well that they would be relegated to the side cars of these bikes). After both teams decided that cars were more practical, the issue then arose as to what they would do with this car. After another few drinks - and inappropriate suggestions - they decided they would travel the length and breadth of Muggle and Wizarding England! The only snag in the problem: a driving license. None of the lads in the dorm could legally drive a car, and as Sirius had no desire to tow three guys on the back of his bike, they knew they would need to find a Muggle-born to put their plan in motion.

Soon this idea got around to a few other like-minded individuals, and now several vehicles are set to leave from John O'Groats in Scotland. Though they are not forced to travel together, some choose to, while others make their own routes and meet at prearranged destinations to explore for a piss-up.

So... a group of wizards + muggle vehicles + trusting Sirius with a map... Really, what's the worse than could happen?

Most Wanted: JAMES POTTER! We can't start this road trip without him. Slytherins! No hardcore purists (they're busy planning to overthrow the wizarding world) but your general snobs and bigots are most welcome! More male characters.
