A solitary witch walking near Hogsmeade is murdered. Her young husband is distraught and he attempts a very old dark spell that will allow him to go back in time to stop her death. We already know it doesn't work and he returns home devastated. The following morning, December 19, 2006, people start appearing at Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. That is not so strange until you realize that some of them have been dead for years or are the older versions of themselves. Headmistress McGonagall is not sure what to do, how do you send all of these people back to their proper places when you have no idea how they got there in the first place? So for the time being, everyone must find a place to stay and figure out how to get along.
