A Multi-Generation Dark-RPG, opening June 1, 2009


Welcome to New Europe, run by the European Alliance. A mirror image of the world from which it was based, it is run strictly by Gellert Grindelwald and his Hallowed, the soldiers whom served him loyally in life. Taking the best, the brightest, and the most valuable from the wizarding world, they bring them to the New Society to begin again. With death impossible except by the will of the Leader, there is no escape from his grasp. All actions are closely monitored, all movements followed by soldiers who are determined to keep peace and preserve the sanctity of this place.

In a world where your ability to enter a bar is determined by blood status, all spells with wands are monitored, and where all people with creature blood must be owned by a master, there is no escaping the harsh reality. Freedom must be bought or sold with your soul, or by turning on the people you love. Arriving in the world at any age, in a realm controlled by a madman, midnight raids are common, forms of slavery are legal, and disappearances happen regularly. Insurgents are made into public examples, and the only freedom one possesses is that which is gained by absolute submission.

At Consecro, the mods are experienced players who have been on both sides of the gaming world. We seek to bring you a high quality, fun game in a drama free environment. Unlike many communities, we are a good natured bunch, willing to speak with the players, take suggestions, and do what we can to make all people feel welcome, regardless of whether or not they "know someone else in the game".

You can play your characters at any age, with any amount of memories - the possibilities are endless.

Bloodlines is a post-Deathly Hallows, non-epilogue compliant Harry Potter roleplaying game set four years after the Battle of Hogwarts. The focus of the game is on building strong, dynamic characters, exciting plotlines, and an overall good story as the characters move through their daily lives in a world thrown once again into upheaval. The mods are active both in playing and plotting, and players are encouraged to become involved in existing plots and to create their own stories and characters.

Many great canon characters are still available (including Harry!), so sign up early to be involved in pre-game plotting and backstory brainstorming for them!

hat if Salem Witches' Institute is the very same Magic School the Halliwells protect? Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach didn't extend to the American colonies where magic was stifled and only encouraged by WhiteLighters. Now it's nearly 25 years after the battles against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power. Both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause.

1981
Lord Voldemort attempted to attack Godric's Hollow to prevent the prophecy from being fulfilled; but, when the Order was tipped off about his plan, they were able to warn the Potters before Lord Voldemort could get to them. Instead, Lord Voldemort found himself face to face with Albus Dumbledore when he arrived at the village. Lord Voldemort, refusing to lose, lashed out with a violent curse that severely wounded both himself and Dumbledore. But when the attack did not kill the older wizard, the weakened Dark Lord ordered a mysterious lurker to finish off Dumbledore.

With Albus Dumbledore gone, the Wizarding World waited with baited breath for Lord Voldemort to rise to power. Months passed and there was no sign of the Dark Lord's return. Rumors of his death spread like a wildfire and many attempted to gain back what they had lost to fear. Only the Order of the Phoenix remained suspicious and vigilant.
1983
Many have started to regain the lost normalcy in their lives. Nevertheless, unbeknownst to the peace-seeking Wizarding World, a devious plot has been set into motion; one that will tear down the foundation of Wizardry and bring about the second war.

The game begins in May 1983.

It has been many years since Voldmort's defeat, the British wizarding society is at peace. Kingsley Shacklebolt has kept his position of Minister of Magic, Minerva McGonagall resides as the Hogwarts Headmistress. The society as a whole is happy, well, and prosperous. Hogwarts has long since been repaired and fully active, students are content. Life is good... All was well.

Or so they thought.

All's Not Well is a next-generation Harry Potter roleplay game. The story starts on the first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year. In present time, this roleplay starts on June 1st, 2009

It's 1998 and Wizarding Britain is a very different place. Voldemort controls a puppet Ministry and is seeking to expand his grasp into Europe and, eventually, the world. But he is not unopposed. There are many resistance groups working to keep him from accomplishing his goal and, among these, there is one that stands out from the crowd: The Order of the Phoenix.

Secreting Muggleborns out of the country to keep them from enduring the horrors of Ministry-run "work camps", the Order is fighting a losing battle. Their last hope lies with a carefully guarded secret: The identity and location of The Prophesied One.

Sic Infit explores the possibilities of what could have happened had James and Lily Potter stuck with Sirius as their Secret Keeper. What could have happened if Harry had never become The Boy Who Lived? What if Lord Voldemort had actually won?

Guys, please report to PURGATORY. We have a cap on females until more of you (okay, one more) show up, and we'd really love more pro-Carrows people. We're an awesome and active community, okay?! The summer of Albus Dumbledore's death greeted the wizarding world with great change. The Ministry of Magic was taken over by the Dark Lords followers. Purebloods that understood the cause were at his beck and call. Some half-bloods of social standing tried to change their bloodlines by smudging documents in hopes to keep themselves and their money safe. Muggleborns were treated like common criminals and hunted by an order called, Snatchers. And blood-traitors were victimized for their political views.

Change was on the horizon.

The students of Hogwarts were thrown into that change without warning. As the new year began Headmaster Snape proved to be just as nasty as he had been as a teacher. The employment of the Carrows siblings brought on obvious alterations to the schools interests. With the implementation of a Dark Arts class, the rebirth of the Inquisitorial Squad, and the new found form of physical punishment...students were asked to choose sides. For it was believed that cleansing the youth was necessary to preparing them for the Dark Lords new order. And what better place to start than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizarding?

[info]thispurgatory, is a DH compliant trio era 7th year game. Here we look to explore Hogwarts and Hogwarts only. Though the castle walls are greatly influenced by the world beyond them students are rarely, if ever, let in on details. With no real contact with the outside world and such drastic measures being taken by the new administration students are forced to conform or in the rare case...rebel. Rebellion, of course, will not be tolerated by the current staff. Yet, there are a few who have chosen to fight. A few who look to right the wrongs of those who currently have the power. The question is, where will you stand come the final battle of Hogwarts?

In a world where Tom Riddle never became Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters were never formed, there is an even greater threat that no one can hide from. Wait, what?

That's about 20 years of history, missing right there. So... what happened between being just our of Hogwarts and having kiddies? Well, in the year 2006, a new minister of magic was voted into office: a woman named Anita Stone (NPC). Smart, attractive, and beloved by her supporters, no one really noticed when she started to let laws slowly go into play. After all, a decade had passed since any real evil had been around the wizarding world. What were a few little laws about members of the opposite sex living together before marriage really going to do?

The world Harry and his friends live in is changing: new laws and political powers are taking away the rights of 'unideal' citizens in the name of making a safe world for the next generations- a resistance is rising, but the powers against it are strong. People like Terry Boot have already had jail time for opposing the new system. When a bright future is close for the majority of the world...is a few people getting the short end of the stick really that bad?

Some support the laws- some don't. Are you a member of the resistance, or a follower?
