In 1975, as Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs (better known as the Marauders, at least to themselves) enter their 5th year at Hogwarts, the wizarding world as they know it is slowly changing.

Like the first touch of cool rain, dark whisperings are beginning to be heard among wizards, particularly those of the oldest pureblooded families. Something is coming - and as it arrives, the whispers will rise to voices, and eventually all wizards of the world will hear the echoes of screams.

Dark Voices follows the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as they learn to adapt to a changing world. Making friends, forming alliances, standing for what they believe in, and all hoping that they will be left standing in the end.

A new game with nearly 30 characters, Dark Voices is looking for James, Sirius and Peter to join our Remus. We'd love to have some more Order members to balance out the Death Eaters, and more female Hogwarts students, as there are a lot more boys right now!

1978.The Marauders have just left school but things haven't gone the way we've come to know. Peter Pettigrew went to the Death Eaters and began to feed them information. However, when it came time to prove his loyalty, Peter was unable to complete his task. This resulted in his immediate elimination. His body was found the next morning in the village of Hogsmeade, brutally disfigured. The Order and the Marauders were devastated by the loss of one of their own. It was war though, and thus, they carried on, not knowing the disturbing truth that was their friend's life. Enraged by the loss of valuable information, Voldemort is now more determined than ever to bring the Wizarding World to its knees.

1979. The situation is precarious and the battle is just beginning. Who will make it to the turn of the century, and who will be lost along the way? Time will turn the pages of the story sooner than anyone would like.

On one side, Voldemort and his Death Eaters are infiltrating the Ministry of Magic on all sides, working up intelligence and support.

On the other side, Albus Dumbledore and the underground group of freedom fighters, the Order of the Phoenix, work discreetly and under a strict code of honor.

DE NOVO: ENDGAME


It's the end of the world, where do your alliances lay?



[info]de_novo is not your average Harry Potter game. It's the Potterverse with some familiar names, a healthy dose of science fiction and post-apocalyptic themes set in the year 2029. The game is run by a team of two experience mods who enjoy a good mix of plot and fun to keep everyone busy. In order to guarantee a variety of characters we have created templates for people to base characters on. This also help us keep the game at a manageable size and assure that in a character driven game we will have solid character types to work with.
