Okay, here we go. Match this Saturday morning, 9am. On the pitch, obviously. Me and Padfoot are far too old and responsible to revive corridor quidditch, even if it is excellent fun.

I've played around with the the teams a bit, working with what we had last time and people who have asked to bow out. Let me know if you do/don't want to play or want to move positions and we can always reshuffle. Turns out we don't have quite enough for full teams this time around, but I reckon we can make it work if we each sacrifice a beater.

Me and Savannah are down as captains, but I'm happy to vote if people want to make a thing of it.

Sorry Prongslet, I've had to split the dream team for now. I'm heartbroken as well. Maybe next time.

I've made a decision and I'm taking over the Quidditch-planning. If Savannah or whoever want it back, they can fight me for it. Although I'd rather not because violence is not good sportsmanship, young lady.

Anyway, how does Saturday morning sit with people? Good? Good.

So I got a message from a Scandinavian magizoologist. He has a friend who's a history and has sent me information about these birds. The caveat is that since there are no pictures or direct accounts, they can't be 100% sure it is the same birds.

I've attached everything they know about them. Apparently they were very common in North Europe until about the twelfth century when wizards started to eradicate them because they put too much of a strain on the Muggle population. Anyway, everything they know about them is enclosed. I hope this helps both with the research and the antidote.

It's the second day of what will be a very hectic week and likely with many more to come. For the sake of expediency of all inquiries, the deliveries of completed testimonials about experience, theories, research and whatever else might be on the table, they can be left with myself (Deputy Head) in the absence of Padma. All necessary documentation will be brought to those who are assigned to it's review and any further follow up will be conducted as the information is properly assessed.

What a week right? Anyway thanks to Padma and her team to make sure we don't go on fire, we have our journals back. I didn't think they would come this useful.

Anyway, we've decided that we all need a break and on Friday night, we'll be Apparating to Diagon Alley and then walking into London and finding a restaurant. I can't tell you what's around the Leaky anymore or what kind of cuisine, but we'll try to find something that can accommodate us all. We'll be working with Scorpius and magazines to transfigure clothes into Muggle clothes.

This isn't mandatory, but please let me know how many are interested so we have an idea. Also this is a little experiment to see that nothing bad happens if we leave all together. It's also a little test run for more Muggle excursions.

Starting next Monday at 10 after the Heads meeting, we'll have muggle training, trying to learn as much as we can about Muggles. The hope is that we'll be able to move a little more freely.

Also starting tomorrow, Lucius will have Treasury and Commerce, while Kirley and Myron will work for DAMN (blame Parvati for this.)

So since we have only 2 nominations for minister at the moment and we're doing nothing about an election, I have questions for everyone but especially those who want to be Minister:

1) Are we still thinking of subjecting CHILDREN to the castle by bringing them here?

My opinion: I'll do anything in my power so that they aren't here. It's abuse to bring people who are free to this castle and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy let alone kids.

2) Should we stay at Hogwarts or leave?

My opinion: At this point, I feel that we have enough that we can go to Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley. Take everything we took for there and bring it back. We can have stipends out of the ministry account and then people can decide to stay or leave.

Things have been unusually quiet. That being said I acknowledge my part in the unprecedented unravelling of the structure we had in place. There is nothing I can do to go back and correct that. That is done and we move forward.

For the sake of clearing the air, we are a collection of 20 plus witches and wizards. All opinions are valid, everyone is connected to the government because we are so very limited in numbers.

Rather than focus on who is Minister, as that has drawn out nothing but silence, perhaps for the sake of necessity we can all discuss what we want, where we want to strive to be and how best to get that done.

Move on and move forward as a collective unit rather than a collection of factions.
Talk to me. Talk to each other. Talk. Argue if you must. The silence is deafening.

Since no one wants the job, and since no one can agree on anything, I feel we should have nominations.

I nominate Theo since he caused this mess and he should be stuck with the job.

Feel free to vote in this post and if he has more votes than his non-existent opponent, he's Minister.

I have a question for you. You objected to the nomination and voting last time and had problems with the way things were run. So since no one wants to run the ministry and we sort of need one, why aren't you nominating yourself since you have ideas on how things are done.
