What a week right? Anyway thanks to Padma and her team to make sure we don't go on fire, we have our journals back. I didn't think they would come this useful.

Anyway, we've decided that we all need a break and on Friday night, we'll be Apparating to Diagon Alley and then walking into London and finding a restaurant. I can't tell you what's around the Leaky anymore or what kind of cuisine, but we'll try to find something that can accommodate us all. We'll be working with Scorpius and magazines to transfigure clothes into Muggle clothes.

This isn't mandatory, but please let me know how many are interested so we have an idea. Also this is a little experiment to see that nothing bad happens if we leave all together. It's also a little test run for more Muggle excursions.

Starting next Monday at 10 after the Heads meeting, we'll have muggle training, trying to learn as much as we can about Muggles. The hope is that we'll be able to move a little more freely.

Also starting tomorrow, Lucius will have Treasury and Commerce, while Kirley and Myron will work for DAMN (blame Parvati for this.)

	I don't expect to be long classes or for a long time. Enough that people can learn to move around London without a problem. Once they can do that we can deal with more individual trips. We'll be concentrating in London for now, because we can Apparate there without the Muggles catching us on their recording machines. 	Once you know enough, it's up to you. We just need to know that you're going and where, mostly for safety. The more people know how to get around, the less we need to know. Mostly we need to know if you're in trouble and where to come and found you if you are. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Why would they? Seriously, though if you think that it would be a good way to pressure the Confederation, then let's do something. I'm sick and tired of having to rely on Lucius making back alley deals as if we're criminals, when we're just trying to get supplies. If he has a problem, tell him to talk to me. Because you're you and you've returned from the dead...again. Throw in the fact you're Minister, also again, and miraculously back to an age before I was even born? You are media gold as far as they are concerned. Literally everyone wants to talk to you.

If you want to use the press to put pressure on the Confederation, it's definitely possible. I'll need to look into the reputations of the current outlets and pick the reporters we want to approach. But, that will give us time to work on our story/strategy, and prep you for the kind of questions that will probably make you want to hex them if they come up out of the blue. Your future self generally did better if someone was brave enough to try to rehearse with him ahead of time so he got the hexing out of the way in advance.

You know, they say it's never a good sign when you start talking to yourself.

How are we even doing this interview with no floo and no traveling? The only type would be in writing/owl and i can tell you what I want to say and you can make it sound terribly boring.

It's not like I can actually meet them unless... I wonder if it's a day trip like I've been doing for Diagon Alley if the castle would know that I'm in France. A good ID and I can get on the train, be in Paris in three hours. Or take the ferry and do it in 90 minutes and then Apparate wherever. I'm not sure that it'll make the Confederation happy but it'd prove that we can get out of the UK and nothing happens.

You want to make an impression, you do it in person. But, there may be a way to do it without brassing off the Confederation too much.

Meet at sea. If you meet outside territorial waters, the border restrictions shouldn't matter. We're not crossing their borders and the reporter wouldn't be crossing ours. It shouldn't take much to charter a boat for an afternoon. You make your point without breaking sovereign borders, trying to fake a valid passport that will be accepted on both sides with their different requirements.

Oh, that's right. No one thought to brief you lot in the older generations about Brexit, did they? Muggle nonsense my latter years at school where the U.K. broke away from the EU, which means no more free travel between here and there with just a national card.

I mean it's a Muggle passport, how hard can it be to fake? In fact, I probably should have mine at home, magically change the date of birth. Still I don't think that would solve the problem with the confederation.

Still it seems bloody stupid to do it on a boat. Maybe they can cross on a ferry. If they want an interview bad enough, I'm sure we can find some Muggleborn to do the interview.

I wouldn't guarantee it. Technology changes faster in the muggle world than anything else and your passport at home would not only have an outdated expiration date, but an outdated electronic chip. If they even use paper passports now. They were moving to electronic passports kept on your phone in 2028 using...bio-something. I forget the word. But, like fingerprints and eye scans like some of the muggle spy films.

Meeting them halfway might go over better. But, we can see if we can find one that seems brave enough to make the trip here. Let me look into the outlets and see which reporters have the reputation we want. Might take a few days.
