GRAND OPENING

Our spa will open Saturday afternoon at 4pm. We have a pool, a hot tub and a sauna. Food will be provided at the pool for a pool party.

Today it's a sunny and warm day! Yes, you've read that right. Sunny and warm, with temperatures reaching 22 degrees. The rest of the week looks as following sunny except for showers on Saturday. with highs around 19 degrees. Enjoy summer in Scotland.

We have a list of National Holidays. If a holiday is on the weekend, it will be celebrated the Monday. If there are two holidays on the weekend (like Christmas and Boxing Day), they will be celebrated on Monday and Tuesday. These holidays are in addition to your 20 personal days and 10 sick days.

- They apparated right outside of the parking lot. That area is all agricultural and has no cameras.
- They arrived at opening time (10am) and left at closing time (5pm)
- Because it's a weekday, they didn't find lines for most attractions and could do everything they wanted.
- Harry was amused by the many 'magic' related rides with dragons, flying brooms and even goblins.
- Harry paid for everyone's entrance

Hi there, I have a huge favour to ask. I had a surprise for everyone, it's swimming center, with pool, sauna and hot tub. However, the spell for the hot tub isn't really the greatest, and the water doesn't whirl as much as it should.

I know that this is hardly the important work you do, but could you come and take a look? I'd really like to open soon.

There will be a daily sign-out sheet at the Main Entrance. We need to know where you're going and roughly how long you plan to be gone. This is not to limit people's movements, but so we know where to look if and when you're gone longer than anticipated. I recommend taking your journal with you, as it will not be out of place for someone to be scribbling in a journal. This way, you'll be able to message if your trip is longer than anticipated. A member of the DMLE will be assigned to monitor the sign-out sheet on rotation, and people will be expected to check in with the assigned person when they are back in the castle.

- Weather: Another fun week of rain and more rain, but average highs are in the upper 50s and the lows in the upper 40s. At least no more snow!

- Starting today, people can leave the castle. The rules:
1) Sign up. This isn't asking permission, but we need to know who's going out and when. You might be told no IF there are too many people going at the same time.
2) You need to Apparate to Diagon Alley and walk/take a cab/tube from there. There will be no Apparating in the Muggle world
3) Do NOT cast magic. If you need money for purchases, tell us in advance to arrange for exchange from galleons to pounds.

- Mr. Potter has bee on the field looking for clues. His time here at the castle is limited, so if you need him, let me know.

- Also we've found the first clue. It's a table with the inscription "A long time ago, in a far-off land, there lived a foolish king who decided that he alone should have the power of magic". The DoM has received the tablet today and is studying to see what else might show/say

- While he will still help on Friday, this is for people who want to spend more time looking good and not jeans and a shirt.

Hogwarts Filter

What a week right? Anyway thanks to Padma and her team to make sure we don't go on fire, we have our journals back. I didn't think they would come this useful.

Anyway, we've decided that we all need a break and on Friday night, we'll be Apparating to Diagon Alley and then walking into London and finding a restaurant. I can't tell you what's around the Leaky anymore or what kind of cuisine, but we'll try to find something that can accommodate us all. We'll be working with Scorpius and magazines to transfigure clothes into Muggle clothes.

This isn't mandatory, but please let me know how many are interested so we have an idea. Also this is a little experiment to see that nothing bad happens if we leave all together. It's also a little test run for more Muggle excursions.

Starting next Monday at 10 after the Heads meeting, we'll have muggle training, trying to learn as much as we can about Muggles. The hope is that we'll be able to move a little more freely.

Also starting tomorrow, Lucius will have Treasury and Commerce, while Kirley and Myron will work for DAMN (blame Parvati for this.)

Good news: we have brooms. Bad news: we don't have enough. So here's the deal.

Headmaster, Mr. Potter said that you don't need a broom to fly around (because you can Apparate inside Hogwarts?) but if there's a problem, let me know and we'll change things around.

Good morning on this cloudy Sunday.

- Weather spells predict rain starting this afternoon and lasting for TWO WEEKS, with a few intervals for light snow this coming Thursday and then Sunday through Wednesday, so prepare for lots of indoor time. We'll update as spells tell us otherwise.

- We seemed to have gained subscriptions to Monde Magique, Clarvăzător and Magische Presse. If you read, French, Romanian or German, the papers will be in the Ministry's conference room. Do not take them out of there.

- Reminder next Sunday is May 2nd aka Victory Day. There will be a ceremony in the courtyard at 10:00. Due to the weather, we'll stay in the cloister. The Minister will be reading the names of the 53 52 Fallen.

- Starting the 1st of May, we will be reaching out to Muggleborn. Expect to see new faces as they decide to move here ahead of the school here.
