I guess now is as good a time as any. I'd offered up lessons in self-defense and fighting a couple of days ago and I wanted to wait a bit to see if anyone else responded before actually starting them. Once our shifts for the day are over, I'll be in the community center, in the room where Pepper had thrown that party this weekend, for anyone who wants to come to the first beginner's class. You don't have to have shown interest in the first post I made, you're welcome to just show up if you want to be there. If you're looking for something more intermediate or advanced, you'll need to talk to Sara and Natasha. This is just for beginners. Hopefully, I'll see some of you there. Be dressed appropriately, please, I'll make you sit it out if you're wearing stilettos, ladies. Jeans are not preferable, but I know we have limited resources, so if jeans are all you have for clothes...maybe consider wearing your pajamas down. You need to be able to move freely.

ETA: If you're intermediate or advanced and looking for a sparring partner, check the comments section.

DEFENSE CHARLIE.
It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if we did this as a group as a team builder, but I'm not going to break any arms to make you show up.

Hey folks. The lovely Ms. Forbes gave me the welcome spiel already. Been awhile since I've been temporally displaced, especially such a small jump. Almost a little disappointed there, though the lovely variety of blood thirsty monsters just about makes up for it.

For those of you I haven't been lucky enough to have a face-to-face with, name's Captain Jack Harkness. Officially I'll be with your defense outfit here, but I've dabbled in lots of areas in my time, so if anyone else ever needs a...hand with anything, feel free to let me know.

New Guy on Charlie.

Don't ever try to get me to work with him. I can't guarantee I won't lose it and kill him. That's probably bad for team moral, right?

This is probably one hell of a long shot, but what are the chances someone has one of the following around here:

1. PlayStation (or any kind of console) [Wishful thinking?]
2. Football
3. Any kind of musical instrument besides a guitar
4. A decent book collection I could examine and borrow from. With the promise of taking excellent care of them, of course.

After that helpful welcome, thank you again, Ms. Potts, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name's Rogue and I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't used to this sort of thing. I've also been assigned to the delta defense team.

I really don't want to do this over the net but

For the sake of transparency, I should tell y'all that I'm a mutant. One of my powers involves touch and I can't turn it off. When I make skin to skin contact with people I absorb their life energy, their memories, and temporarily their powers if they got any. It's why I wear gloves at all times and would appreciate some distance for all our sakes.
