I totally forgot to post something here, but I've been fighting with the end of my semester and also moving the last few weeks. I'm sorry I didn't say something sooner, though a few of you were aware. >.<

Anywho, my semester is done, I'll be at my brother's tonight and will be at your disposal to do ALL THE THINGS.

I think this has been a loooong time coming, so now I'm going to make it official: you guys have been wonderful and this game is fantastic, but it's time to say goodbye. I thought about staying for closure with my remaining kids, and I just don't know if I can. Flynn, sometime before this last fight, leaves the city with her family for an extended Ordalia vacation because goddamn, they need it. She does come back, though, trains with Toku as necessary. Some years from now, improved significantly, she takes the class exam and advances from blue mage to geomancer.

Lavitz stays in the city for a while, works his way out of his engagement, and eventually leaves town some months from now with Mag and Kiernan while still keeping in touch, still visiting. He's happier away from it all with the two people he loves most, sticking outside city limits as much as he can to stay sane.

Ridley will also remain in the city, still working for Cormac if that's cool with you, Jan! Sometime within this year (or next? fuck), she takes her class exam for white mage and passes. While she doesn't stay at Cormac's clinic forever, she works closely with him and the other white mages, opening up a clinic for those less fortunate in the Tenements so that everyone can get the healing they need.

hello my remaining sweets, this post has two parts: one, hiatus because while I'd intended to get through to the end of the month, my medication + panic attacks + increased anxiety over RP and having to finish things is incredibly difficult to navigate, so I'll still be quiet on my end while I can't exactly write anything.

second is that Damia is taking her exeunt with Loch, and disappeared with her five days ago to whisk her away to some far away land away from Emillion. Damia herself will be returning to Emillion, as it's her home base, but over the months she'll pop in less and less, while still keeping contact, still doing heists whenever desired/there's time. No goodbye notes or anything from her, because she's gone from game, but not Emillion. ty to any of you who've written with her over the last year and a half, and for the memories I have with her, because I struggled a lot at first with her until I found her niche and her friends. ilu ♥

I still have Rid, Lavitz, and Flynn atm, tho I'm not sure how to approach their lines anymore. STILL, will take logs after my daily panic attacks cease. :*

Hi all,

I've been trying to tell myself this wasn't coming for a while and failing, so I need to stop dragging my feet and cut the cord. I have been feeling very ambivalent (at best) about RP lately and to top that off my emotional state has not been the best due to various RL problems. I've been stuck in a rut and it had gotten to the point where wanting to do my characters here justice was adding a layer of stress to everything. The truth is, at this point in my life I don't have the emotional bandwidth to carry out my characters' arcs the way I had intended, and I am too much of a perfectionist to settle for "good enough", so I need to prioritise my mental health and bow out.

This game was my return to RP after several years away and it gave me back all the excitement about RP that I had lost, along with letting me meet many wonderful people and being able to carry out our vision for our characters together. I'm grateful to this game for all the good moments it has given me, but now the time has come to say goodbye. Both the players and the mods were incredibly welcoming when I was coming in a total stranger to everyone else in the game and this game will always have a special place in my heart.

Thank you for all these months, it's been real. Love you all ♥

You can backdate AC qualifying stand alone threads back as far as July 1st as of this month. This is to assist in assuring a character’s presence within the month that we are checking for AC for.
