It's been a while since we've had a meme, and Cristina and I were brainstorming ideas and we came up with this. WE REGRET NOTHING.

THE "BORROWED" COMMUNICATOR MEME. One of your character's friends has "borrowed" his/her communicator and used it to send a message to another character (perhaps a romantic interest, or another friend, or a rival, whatever). Your character notices too late to stop it—and now they have to deal with the consequences. What are friends for, if not for trolling each other? → Comment with your character's name in the comment title. → Other characters' friends (dirty traitors) will comment with messages sent to your character, stating in the comment title from whose communicator this message was sent. → React appropriately. → P. S.: Should the character whose comm was stolen get it back and see the messages, feel free to have them react appropriately to that tomfoolery. >:D → Enjoy!

Hello all!

Not directly relevant to emillion but since we're such a lovely community, I wanted to share a little something with you all. November is rpwrimo, or the rper's version of National Novel Writing Month. Rules are up here in the comm. In summary: the goal is 30k words in one month, counting your tags & narratives but not journal network comments and probably not entries¹. There are so many amazing and prolific, omg, writers here, I thought you might be interested in this fun, little challenge. :3

Since not everyone has a CDJ, we could all post progress spreadsheets here in the comments of this post instead!

Feel free to ask questions below and they can be tackled by someone with, uh, more experience than me. (And please correct me where I'm wrong, Experienced RPWriMoers.)

sup babies. I was doing some character soul-searching earlier and thought GUESS I'LL WRITE ABOUT IT ON MY CDJ, but then I thought: I could do it here instead bc not even a quarter of you would see it/care about it? re: char plot and all that. In the last couple mythology games I've been in, we always had monthly plot posts after AC for people looking for plot. (Cristina, Ashley, Julie-- you have all participated in these!) I felt it was always a neat, compact way for people to seek plot with each other rather than making individual posts about it.

Anddd if it was kosher with the mods, I'd be happy to do these once a month (since I'm used to it, having modded a game with monthly plot posts). If not, well, come milk this post as best you can (if this is even okay), which I'm labeling as a meme bc it kind of is.

BASICALLY: stick your name in the subject line, and post with your characters + what sort of plot you're looking for them, or plot you're planning for down the road! Feel free to mention wanted lines, too, obvs. Or just link to the wanted page if you already have ads.
