We have some oldies but goodies re-appearing for the fights in the caves leading up the Lich, you may be familiar with such great hits as...!
ZOMBIE KNIGHTS: These wield swords, shields and greatswords. Armor ranges from ragged chain-mail to various states of damaged plate. Weak to Fire and Holy.
ZOMBIE MAGES: Higher evasion than the knights, weak to fire and holy. They will cast various black magick spells, such as Blizzard, Thunder and Dark.
GHOSTS: Fast, agile and deadly, physical attacks do the least amount of damage. They are able to cast magick such as Dark and Blind.
MINOTAUR ZOMBIE: A large, vicious undead foe carrying an enormous hammer. Stronger and more durable than any of the other zombies, this beast will attack relentlessly until defeated. While it possesses no magick, the abomination is deadly by means of its size and strength alone.
THE LICH: The source of everyone’s ire, this creature will cast Dark, spew Oil, cast Fire, and also Blind. It is immune to Dark magic and weak against Holy. He will do his very best to stay behind his hulking monster and not get hit/throw spells at you.
EDGAR CHERE: Little is known about the handsome stranger who appeared in Emillion some months before, including what he can and can't do... Guess you'll just have to find out.....
Question! Since this is a plot relevant battle, is there anything else we need to know?
Answer! To assure timely resolution for this event as it does impact the entire game, the mods would like if everyone involved in directly fighting Chaos can tag in within (roughly) 24hrs of the last person who tagged (some consideration - in the form of up to 6 extra hours - will be given for varying time zones). If they can not tag in, in that period, it would be easiest/best for ease of flow and time constraints (so that a bunch of characters don’t get caught in limbo) to skip their turn for that round.
Battle damage! And as a reminder! For those characters participating in this event, we've set up for your character to receive a randomized damage roll based upon this chart which you can modify as desired! Or! If you don’t want your character to participate/don’t feel they would, feel free to delete them from the sheet!~

1 - Scratches, very minor cuts, bruises - You can sleep it off.
2 - Muscle tears, minor cuts, moderate bruises, hairline fractures.
3 - Minor fractures, moderate cuts/small wounds, large sections of bruising.
4 - Moderate fractures, moderate wounds.
5 - Serious fractures, large wounds.
6 - Compound fractures, significant bleeding, mix of all the below~
7 - Crushed bones, gaping wounds, close to losing conscious/unconscious but stable~
8 - Unconscious, potentially half hanging off limbs (can be fixed!), any of the previous things/combo of them, bleeding~ (but won't die).
9 - Unconscious, bleeding, dying~ (but not dead!)
10 - Dead.
Question! Will there be rewards for this event?
Answer! Yes! All characters who participate will obtain 10,000 gil from their appropriate guild. If the character is not part of a guild, please assume they obtain it from the guild that makes the most sense for them at this time.
