hello my sweets, now that it's been confirmed Flynn got Asura, the following has happened over the last couple days: she came to the MG council pretty early on with the knowledge that hey, idefk what's going on but this guardian can heal the plague, shock!!! but she can only summon once a day, according to both Asura and Ari The Summon Buddy.

they drafted up a list of who needed to be cured first, and this is the current list:

DAY ONE (12/2, MON): City leaders (in this case, Aspel, Merri, Evander, Violet) and anyone in critical condition

DAY TWO (12/3, TUES): The young'uns (Storm, Pyr) and anyone in crit condition

DAY THREE → ONWARD First come first serve!

Let's all pretend this information went up days ago: those who can get to the Tower's largest lecture hall can be cured for, well, nothing. You don't even have to pay. Team Flasura is like so giving and shit, they don't require monies. You're welcome.

Hey guys!

We know the Asura fight isn't over yet, but we wanted to drop a quick note to explain how the healing process for all the sickly types is going to go. As you can see over on the pcal, we have estimated healing occurring from the 2nd-10th.

Since there is literally only one herb left, it won't be enough to cure everyone in the city, plus it will take a few days to appropriately synthesize into a potion.

Therefore, how can your character be better today?

Well, that's simple, Asura's going to help. Due to her healing capacity she's able to do a special trick that can clean out the sickness from those who have been infected. However, her impact can only hit small segments of the populace, and she has to be summoned to do it. Which, as we have established previously in the game cannon, a summon can only be summoned once per day. Therefore, the first few days our mighty adventurers are back, the only way to get cured is getting hit with the healing light of Asura. Any time after the 5th, whoever hasn't been cured can pick up a handy dandy potion somewhere about town.

Since a few people expressed interest, the starter for the Saturday night camp is here. Posted up early so that you can play around as you desire before we go fight the ~mysterious guardian~ on Sunday!

Feel free to use this post to make plans for your characters and solicit threads/minis, etc.

Party formation for Sunday’s fight will happen once our lovely mods reveal the format of the battle itself! This plotting post is really just for the camp the night prior (or even the airship journey or the hike, idc!).

Hey guys! Just a few quick clarifying notes! ♥

The "as i lay dying" plague plot is nearing resolution this Sunday! The character sign-ups are located here. Just for clarity, this is the main game plot, not a player plot, even though sign-ups are being run IC by the MG council!

We definitely want as many participants as would like to be in on the battle and rewards!!! So if you have a character for whom it would be reasonable to sign up IC (ie not currently ill with the plague, has made class, has reason to volunteer for a dangerous mission, whether that reason be personal or financial), please consider joining the volunteer force! As has been discovered by Sabina, the guardian summons additional creatures to aid it, so we will likely be able to split into smaller parties for the fight itself, to make threading manageable~ ♥

As Toku said here, the volunteers will leave Saturday morning. The fight itself will take place Sunday, December 1st. However, if enough people express interest (here, via email, whatever works for you guys), I'll put up an open for Saturday night in the camp, pre-battle, for your characters to think deep thoughts/distract themselves/interact with other volunteers/what have you!

Anyone who might want to do something healing-related please drop me a line, I am always down to make up fantasy treatment regimens & have Sabina tut tut and perform grisly impromptu surgeries.

If you're trying to come up with symptoms your character might be exhibiting, Jan and I established some of the horrible grossness here when Sabina and Cormac were in the outlands. Basically, think bubonic plague -- boils, blackened flesh, fever. It's pretty foul.

Oh and any of Sabina's white magic students who would want to know what she advised etc, please feel free to ask! I am at your disposal.
