Containment: An Original Roleplay: Network/Texts/Emails

For anyone here who lost loved ones or suffered injuries in the hospital attack, I would like to offer my sympathies. I'm also offering my services. My firm has begun taking cases for those seeking justice beyond the execution of the individual responsible. A class action lawsuit is pending at this time.

Waiting is the hardest part in such a tragedy. Waiting to hear from loved ones. Waiting for the news to inform us of the extent of the damage. Waiting to learn how many lives were lost or forever altered. My thoughts are with everyone suffering today. If I thought I could help, I would, just as I know many of you would. But waiting is all we can do. Money can't be thrown at this problem right now. And rushing off to the hospital is ill advised for those of us without the training to assist. We would just get in the way of trained professionals or possible put our own lives in danger creating more victims.

Should any of you need emotional support through the waiting, I invite you to come to my home. Sometimes a distraction is the best medicine. I could certainly use it. The waiting is painful.

Calling all crooners! I have challenged the enigmatic Miss Theo Sawyer to a karaoke battle. I may need reinforcements in the form of talented backup singers to help me in my quest to be crowned karaoke king. We will meet at the World's End pub in the West District at 8:30 this evening.

Bring money. This will be a charity fundraiser for the family of the man killed yesterday. While I have challenged Miss Sawyer in singing, I challenge all of YOU to be generous. Should we raise an obscene amount of money (and I truly hope we do), I will donate the excess to whatever charity receives the most votes from all of you.

Bring food. We'll be collecting non-perishable food stuffs for the families who have been unable to make it to work with the tram system out of commission due to the weather.

Finally, please be safe in your travels. Dress warmly and wear sensible shoes so you don't slip and fall like I did a few minutes ago. My backside is still sore.

Such a terrible tragedy. I just turned on the news and heard about the man killed yesterday. Haven protects us from many things, but this weather simply can not be avoided. I'm comforted to see that the man's family is receiving exceptional care as they cope with this unavoidable loss. I have no doubt the community will come together to offer their support as well.
