They finally found his body. Well, most of it. I think. I don't know, I wasn't entirely paying attention. There's to be a memorial on Sunday.

We should do brunch soon. Everyone's been positively dull since that little distraction at the hospital.

I've seen enough death in one lifetime. I don't want to see another.

Calling all crooners! I have challenged the enigmatic Miss Theo Sawyer to a karaoke battle. I may need reinforcements in the form of talented backup singers to help me in my quest to be crowned karaoke king. We will meet at the World's End pub in the West District at 8:30 this evening.

Bring money. This will be a charity fundraiser for the family of the man killed yesterday. While I have challenged Miss Sawyer in singing, I challenge all of YOU to be generous. Should we raise an obscene amount of money (and I truly hope we do), I will donate the excess to whatever charity receives the most votes from all of you.

Bring food. We'll be collecting non-perishable food stuffs for the families who have been unable to make it to work with the tram system out of commission due to the weather.

Finally, please be safe in your travels. Dress warmly and wear sensible shoes so you don't slip and fall like I did a few minutes ago. My backside is still sore.

I know it's not the most popular opinion, but I kinda dig what Maxwell Wallace is doing. I think the people without powers should have some sort of voice on the Council. I mean, yeah, the Council does a pretty good job of taking care of everyone, like the family of that guy who was killed, but we have a Council member for every cohort, so maybe we should have one for the people with no special abilities. I don't know. Just thinking. If we gave those people a voice, maybe the bandits would chill out. They could see that Haven's really nice and maybe work toward peace.

Such a terrible tragedy. I just turned on the news and heard about the man killed yesterday. Haven protects us from many things, but this weather simply can not be avoided. I'm comforted to see that the man's family is receiving exceptional care as they cope with this unavoidable loss. I have no doubt the community will come together to offer their support as well. And, if you're looking for a way to help, I've established a trust fund for the children. Contact me for details on how you can contribute. It's the very least we can do for our fellow citizens in a time of need.
