Moody requested that everyone meet up in the Great Hall where he intended to breach the subject of Albion and the Order joining forces. He invited Rufus along to break the news to the group, sans his gang of merry men. He would have allowed people to voice their concerns or any other general comments/concerns they'd like to make, though he would have tried to steer clear of the most obvious topic of the evening.

Feel free to discuss things here as they would have been discussed in the meeting!

All of the ladies involved in helping with the Citizens Concerned for the Truth group were invited to Malfoy manor this afternoon for tea and a discussion on how to best direct the group. Severus would have been there as a representative to the Minister and would have mentioned the PR nightmare of the Muggleborn trial events and asked if this group might be able to assist with that in some way.

He would have probably also encouraged them to come up with something that the government could fix, something that was very easy to fix, and something that would appeal to the majority of the Wizarding population.


Priorities:

1. Ways to insure the CCT group appears legitimate in the eyes of the public.


2. Ideas to deal with the PR nightmare of what happened during the Muggleborn trials. Could this group help solve that problem?

Really sorry this didn't go up in time. I have no idea how I forgot to post this

Rufus is interested in everyone's ideas on how to strike back hard at the death eaters -- hard enough that their reign will falter and they can try and retake the government.

Priorities:
1) Announcing that Amycus was the spy for anyone unaware. Operating under the assumption that he was acting alone, but reminding everyone to remain vigilant
2) New location, choosing a secret keeper.

Other things:
1) Ideas on how to hit the DEs the hardest
2) Ideas on how to actually retake the ministry
3) Public support campaigns?
4) Creation of dissent.

The inside of the safehouse -- most of it, anyway -- was decorated festively for the event, with a variety of bright colours and a banner that read 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' hung up over a long conjured table where all the food was to be placed. There was a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, and next to it were containers of vanilla and cookies and cream ice cream (with charms on the containers to make sure they wouldn't melt). There was also plenty of alcoholic drinks, generously provided by James. Although the party started at 6:00 PM, Remus had asked everyone who could come to arrive shortly beforehand as he had arranged for the party to be a surprise. And to make sure as to not disturb Rufus' rest and healing process, the door to the room he is sleeping in is closed shut and the room soundproofed with spells.

So, for the sake of kicking them when they're down, the Order devises a sinister plot to burn down Mulciber Manor. Equipped with whatever they can find, emergency portkeys and a serious grudge, the Order arrived at the Manor and spent a good deal of time taking down the wards on the property so that no one would explode. Once they did that and were able to get close enough, both literal and proverbial bombs flew and the house caught on fire. High fives all around!

So today, Amelia & Amycus are set to return to camp! Because I should've been in bed an hour ago, I'm putting up this handy ooc post to describe just what happened. At some point in the evening, A² will be wandering back into Gairloch. Amelia has been given Tabitha's beauty treatment and is a: grossed up and b: traumatized, and Amy is plenty bashed up too; all the fingers of his left hand are broken and out of place and have been since Friday. So, in short, they are very gross.

The story he's telling: managed to attack one of the werewolves when it came in with their food, knocked him out, and while everyone else was enjoying a meaty meal, he and Amelia got the heck away. At some point he would've taken the antidote like the sneaky thing that he can be, got rid of the vial, and so he's good to go veritaserum-wise for the next 6-(10?) hours. :D

Let us assume for simplicity's sake that Rufus or Pepper have contacted all people with access to Gairloch to get them in the same place. I figured that most people would be there already anyway, but for the sake of my brain, yes, let's assume.

Tonight at suppertime, Rufus is going to inform everyone that the soup has been laced with Veritaserum. He will then say that everyone will be required to report to him for an interview, and that the only questions he will ask will be in relation to a hypothetical leak in camp. If they do not wish to take the veritaserum, they may leave, though leaving will be an assumption of guilt and they will not be allowed to return to camp.

He is being as serious and leaderly as possible, but it is pretty obvious he's troubled by what he has to do.

What to do

Comment with your character's reaction: How do they react to the announcement, do they drink the veritaserum and do they submit to an interview?

The Divination Classroom had proven easy to decorate since there wasn't much that needed done other than some candles being lit here and there. True to his word James had wrangled a rather sad assortment of snacks and a few bottles of whiskey which were all sitting on a table in the rear.

The chairs were arranged in a circle of sorts and other than the candles there wasn't much else to light the room. At ten o'clock anyone who wanted to speak was welcome to share a few words about any of the deceased. After everyone was finished the chairs were cleared to the edges so that people could mill around.
