( A little girl at the wedding afterwards asked her mother why the bride changed her mind. What do you mean? responded her mother. Well, she went down the aisle with one man, and came back with another. )

Lily's party begins promptly at 8. The theme was come as your favorite Hogwarts professor and there were alcoholic prizes for the winner.

There was a huge assortment of muggle take-out foods to eat and funny colored plates to eat them on. Lots of juices and fruity drinks. There was also muggle music, a disco ball, and a huge cake.

Half way through the party James flickered the lights to get everyone's attention.

"Lils and I wanted to thank all of you for coming for her birthday. There's nothing that means more to us than family and you are our family. And so we want you all to be the first to know that we're adding another member to the family soon. Well- in about 5 and a half more months actually," he said, getting a huge smile on his face.

He lifted his glass. "To my beautiful wife-- who's already an amazing Order member and who will soon be an equally amazing mother."

After the reactions died down the music would pick back up but after a little while it would slow down allowing for slow dances and conversation.

Dorcas's Memorial started at 8pm on the dot and afterwards people could mill around and chat if they wanted. Beforehand James had headed to the Hog's Head to help apparate anyone that was invited into the GH house. TOP STEP!

Mrs. Potter had prepared a large amount of food and would have tried to send it home with anyone who would take it when the memorial was over.

Dorcas will always be remembered as a freedom fighter, and fantastic friend, and a talented artist. Well-- talented in that she was sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone who knew not to take her too seriously. She could be scary as fuck sometimes with the way she'd run her mouth, but I think we could all use a dose of that courage. Dorcas... you'll be missed.

After that he'd have sat back down with his wife, friends and mum and stayed very quiet until the end.
