Thread, Complete.
WHO: Jubilation Lee. Mikaela Banes, Sam Witwicky.
WHAT: Jubilee arrives in Angel Grove... and is a little confused.
WHEN: Sometime in the AM but after McDonald's stops serving breakfast.
WHERE: The Mall.
RATING: TBD... But if I were to guess, PG/PG-13.
Jubilee woke up to a familiar set of sounds. There were people bustling about and she could hear the almost welcoming noise of a bad muzak echoing around her. Her blue eyes fluttered open as she lifted her hand to her head with a groan. It took her a moment to take in her surroundings, but she could recognize the homey feeling of commerce at it's best when she saw it. The question was, how the heck did she get in a mall? Last she remembered she was- she was in bed, right? Her clothes seemed to disagree with that fact. She was wearing a pair of jeans, boots, a dark red t-shirt, and a yellow leather jacket that was reminiscent of her old yellow trench coat. She forced herself to stand up, using the nearest wall to brace herself. Taking a deep breath, Jubilee tried to think back to what had happened before she woke up. She could recall visuals of attending school.. her best friend Sooraya... fighting Emperor Sunfire... Except that wasn't right. Her brow crinkled in confusion. She must have taken one hell of a whack to the head to have a dream like that. She certainly wasn't friends with Sooraya, she barely knew the girl. And since when did Sunfire rule Japan? Maybe she had a concussion from falling out of bed or something... It could happen, right?
She shook her head and looked around, hoping no one noticed her and her disorientation. If it not, it meant she could compose herself and make it appear as if she belonged. Since she was in a mall it wouldn't be too hard, after all she was the former queen of all mallrats.
Jubilee ran a hand through her hair and took a deep breath before heading in a random direction. She needed to figure out where she was and find a phone to call the mansion... not that anyone would be worried about her. They had more important things to do than look for a wayward teenager. Heck, even Wolvie had a new sidekick with that X-23 chick.
"Friggin wannabe." Jubilee muttered under her breath. She was on her own and deep down, or maybe not so deep, she knew that. As she wandered the mall, she checked her pockets for anything useful. She found her wallet, containing Emma's credit card a couple of twenties and her driver's license. She also found her cell phone. Too bad it was dead. She knew she should have charged the blasted thing. But no, she just had to keep getting distracted by Christian Bale and his abs on tv. At least she wasn't totally broke, but she still needed to find out where she was. It was time to look for a newspaper or something. Or maybe buy a giant cookie and a smoothie. Her stomach growled and she knew that the thought of a cookie had won over the need for knowledge. A few minutes later Jubilee had her cookie, but alas, no smoothie.
"Man, my priorities are screwed up." She said to herself before taking a bite of the cookie. Screwed priorities or not, it was one good cookie.
