"I guess it would only be fair to say that any questions you might have about our own saving the world experience, you can ask those, too. You can't be the only one getting grilled about your life, it's rude or something," Sam told Jubilee with a grin, extending the possibility that she could ask them whatever she wanted and not have to worry about his freaking out about the government jumping out and deciding to take them away to a lab to examine them. He knew that he would be the one to ask plenty of questions about Jubilee's life as a mutant, and didn't want that to be too annoying. So offering that was the least he could do. That way she wouldn't be the only one on the spot. That sort of thing was always uncomfortable and weird, it wasn't really a feeling anyone wanted to be having, anyway.
Once the savior of the world thing came back up, Sam looked a little embarrassed and looked down for a moment, becoming sheepish for a moment in nature. The modesty wasn't an act, he really didn't think that he did anything truly heroic. He just happened to be the right guy at the right time in the right place. Holding an All Spark cube that was entrusted to him by Lennox, who was a real soldier, a real hero. He just wasn't the one who pushed the cube into Megatron's chest. Sam's fingers squeezed Mikaela's to reassure that yes, she shouldn't worry about them. Just.. not because of the savior of the world part.
"I don't know about all that..," he murmured, looking over at Mikaela for a moment, a smile of his own creeping its way up on his features before he turned his look over to Jubilee. "I'm with her on expecting to see you around, though. This town doesn't seem that big, so we'll find you eventually," he mock threatened, his tone playfully saying 'you can run, but you can't hide!'.
