At least Mikaela could be happy that her words didn't fall on deaf ears entirely. While Sam was being his usual stubborn self when it came to this subject, Jubilee seemed to be more on her side. This was a relief to Mikaela who had been playing things safe for the last few days. It had been easier to play it safe when you didn't have any friends that would "get it" even if you told them. All her "friends" had been vapid girls who were like the football team fanclub more or less. As long as they could still go to Mission City's mall, they'd be cool with everything that happened.
"Point and paff?," she questioned, not entirely picking up on the fact the fast-talking girl had used the word "mutant" in her explanation to them. She thought it was, like, a new gun shooting term or something. Yeah, Mikaela was still pretty simple in her own right.
Raising an eyebrow when the girl mentions she's "pretty handy at lighting things up", her face then took on a grin at her last statement. She was really digging this girl's way of thinking. Finally she had someone who could help her gang up on Sam. Poor Sam. He was totally in for it now.
"Well, as long as they bring us some cereal at least," she joked, her fingers coming instinctively to her stomach. She had been waiting on Sam to stop "rearranging the bathroom" so they could go do the breakfast thing. And her snack from the mall just wasn't cutting it. To push her point across she added, "'Cause I'm freaking starving right now, since I was waiting on Mr. OCD over there to finish in the bathroom."
