"Phalnax?," Sam asked with a slight raise of his eyebrows, confused as to what that name meant, "Isn't that like, a chat program..?," he offered, as he slowly began to wonder if maybe that was the name of a Decepticon race or something. It was possible that he wasn't the first human that the Autobots and Decepticons had contact with, after all. He didn't know a whole lot about their history outside of what they told him and Mikaela, so there could have been plenty of people in his current position of not being able to tell very many people or anyone for that matter, about their experiences with the alien robots. Not only that, but the look that Mikaela was giving both himself and Jubilee was making him uncomfortable. Because he didn't like knowing that she was kind of annoyed with what he was currently doing.
"Hello!," he started in a tone that showed he was trying not to panic, "They could ban me from every college.. ever if they knew that we were talking about that, Mikaela! My parents would be pissed if that happened." That was at least part of it. The other part was he didn't want to end up that guy who was stuck working at a McDonald's or something because he couldn't get into any good schools to even get a higher education. He wasn't into the idea of asking someone if they had fries with that, or if they would like to super size their meal. Yeah, no, that wasn't exactly all that appealing. Showing up jocks like Trent DeMarco? He was all about that.
"And you never know, they could be listening in right now, this could be.. some kind of a test, to see how quickly we'd tell people about what happe--," he stopped himself, realizing he was saying too much, in front of Jubilee. He still wasn't entirely sure if she would freak out about their tale or not, even if he was sure that she had seen her fair share of off the wall stuff, with the weird stuff she'd mentioned briefly, after all. "About how we just helped the government with their malfunctioning technology. Not.. saved the world. Unless you mean in a small scale sense," he followed that off with a cough, deciding that despite how not so suave that action was, he wasn't going to outright admit the presence of alien robots to Jubilee. If Bee were here, he would probably at least be able to judge if she was capable of taking that in without freaking out and deeming himself and Mikaela complete psych cases.
