Absolution: OOC

Hey all. Barring more vacations, tech weeks, or family tragedies, I think I'm actually back for real this time. SO! If anybody needs Devon, Mandy, or Emily for anything, let me know! I'll even be back on AIM and everything :)


Incidentally, people may have noticed a change in Emily since the memorial on the 2nd. She finally really said her goodbyes and is moving on, so while she's not exactly perky, she's not so weighted down anymore, either.

I'm sorry to do this now; I thought I could put it off for another week or so but it's really not possible. I've got to take a hiatus and it's going to have to be for a couple of weeks, at least. School is about to start again and I have so much to do and I'm really not getting any of it done, partly because I'm spending time RPing and partly because I can only function if I have deadlines.

Anyway, Emily, Mandy, Devon and I will be gone for at least a couple of weeks. Assume each of them is unhappy in their own way.

Hello again! This is Megtoo with my third character. No, it's not Zacharias. It's Mandy Brocklehurst!

Mandy is an "8th" year Ravenclaw Muggleborn girl who spent about half of the previous year on the run from snatchers and the other half in Azkaban after the running didn't go so well. She's a bitter, angry young woman who doesn't want your sympathy or your apologies. She's also pretty sure she's a lesbian but she's still trying to figure that out and isn't exactly forthcoming about it.

Before the war, Mandy was a very personable, friendly girl who probably had a good number of friends. She was also a bit of a flirt (with the boys) as she was under the impression that she could repress her feelings if she tried hard enough. Now, none of these things are true so people who were close to Mandy before can probably notice some pretty significant changes on that front.
