Absolution: OOC

As inspired by Kaz in the original incarnation of this game, I bring you a mod-approved Personal Plot Post! If there's something you've been wanting to do with your character but need another character for, or an idea you had in general, throw it under here to see if we can get some help! The format below is a suggested way to do it to make sure all the important information is there.

Chloe's cousin Victoria McEvoy (Ravenclaw 5) found out from Ella Vaisley (Slytherin 5) that she and Evan had sex when they were 12/13, and will turn around and tell Chloe this week. Chloe's going to tell G7 (because she does that), and at that point it can be assumed that it's become a rather widespread rumor and your character would know. If your character would like to be responsible for having spread the rumor, let me know! Otherwise we can blame it on Victoria.

I wanted to apologize for my MIA-ness, as life has happened over the holidays to an extreme I wasn't really expecting. I have more access and time now, but am struggling to regain my muses, so I may not really be back until after the new year.

Natalia isn't going to take to the journals with her happiness, but people may have noticed her being much friendlier today, telling them not to worry about messes they make, and dancing a bit as she goes around the castle doing her duties, perhaps grabbing a young man or two to waltz with. She also *gasp* pet a cat.

Work just got super crazy for me, so I will probably be around less than usual until the 14th.

b) I bring you Natalia Spada, cranky new caretaker who doesn't want any of your guff.

c) I am pimping my kits out for threads/logs if anyone is so inclined?

Hey guys! I know we haven't officially started yet, but just an FYI that as of tomorrow I'm disappearing until the 30th. It's quite possible that I won't be around at all, including on email, as I'll be out of the country. Have a good couple of weeks, and I'll see you in a bit!

Woo intros! I'm Cat, 29, work in higher ed. All three of mine come from Purg and haven't changed all that much, but for a refresher and new people, here they are!

Chloe, loudmouth, social butterfly, involved in everything, wants to be everyone's friend. Except not anymore if you were in the IS. She was marginally involved with the DA as a student healer, but didn't full-out join until after her father had his wand taken away and became homeless on Diagon. Over the summer she was super pissed for a while, and then crying all the time, and then was moving towards accepting it all, but once she's back at Hogwarts she's going to be reverting into denial again, and keeping herself busy because she thinks that if she doesn't have time to breathe she doesn't have time to remember that Andrew and Colin are gone. (Everytime I write that Andrew and Colin are gone I just get depressed again.)

Juliet (juliet_dee) is a quiet, studious, nerdy Slytherin. People usually see her quietness as being stuck up but, while she does feel a little intellectually superior she's not really that big a snob, especially when it comes to money/social status (as her family is solidly middle-class) or blood (as her grandmother was a muggleborn.) She was a late joiner to the IS last year, but didn't do anything too offensive, and towards the end did her best to let people off. She also stayed behind at Hogsmeade during the battle to babysit even though she hates kids. And when the news came through she CRIED which she hasn't done since she was, like, 7, so if anyone who was at Hogsmeade wants to have seen that and maybe offered a tissue so she can be embarrassed around you, feel free. Now she's a little less quiet and a little more friendly, though people probably wouldn't actually use the word friendly to describe her. It's progress, though!

William (william_pee) is a douchebag and kind of a bully and spent the last year reveling in the power that the IS gave him. This is largely because he was never good enough for his dad and his mom died when he was a second year. This year he's genuinely sorry... that the other side won. He's playing nice and volunteering to rebuild the school, and will be sending out owls to people he's offended groveling for forgiveness. He will genuinely be friendly with people he was before this year that he's not afraid are going to sell him out, and will try to become (fake) BFFs with anyone who is willing to forgive the IS or who are returning muggleborns who don't really know the extent of his activity last year. He is also researching booby-traps for his stuff because he's kind of terrified of Leah.

Storylines I am hoping to fill: a crush for Chloe that just thinks of her as a friend, a muggleborn who was wandless and bonded with Chloe's dad (you know you want to pick up a muggleborn...), someone that Juliet helped get out of trouble (either a played character or the younger sibling of one) that she's now on friendly terms with, and douchebags to be friends with William that also aren't above groveling.
