| Who: Darcy and Avery Where: Avery and Fiona's place When: late afternoon Darcy didn't want to untangle herself from Noah or abandon packing, but Avery called needing a few of her things and as much as Darcy didn't want to, her cousin had been through a trauma. There wasn't any way that Darcy could say no. So she threw a few things into a bag from Avery's room and headed over to her new place. It was part of why Darcy was busy packing up her own things having been told in no uncertain terms that if Avery was moving out, Darcy was moving in with Patrick. That was annoying but considering everything she didn't protest it. Being in the house alone didn't sound fun at all. Not with everything that had happened. She waited at the door after knocking, nervous that this might not go well. The last thing she wanted to do was make things worse for Avery. ( still not friends ) | ||||||||

| Who: Lydia and Justin Where: The Market When: Afternoon With the chaos of the last few days, Lydia was glad for things to start getting back to normal. It had also given her great inspiration to paint, and so she went to the market, just to see if anything was new. Even if there was, she wasn’t entirely sure how she would buy it, but maybe she could track down Skylar and see if he’d grab it for her. | Who: Mannix and Mickey Where: December’s House When: Night Now that everyone seemed to be accounted for, maybe, just maybe, he could get that drink with December. It’d been forever since they’d talked about it. Since the full moon, maybe? And it just kept getting put off as crisis after crisis landed at their feet. While she still might have a morgue full of bodies, he was pretty sure that cause of death was clear for at least half of them, so maybe he could sweet talk her into taking a night off. It was with that in mind that he knocked on the door, hoping he had to drag her out of the house, rather than out of the morgue. Mickey was up, his sleep scheduled a little fucked after having just crashed for almost a full day after everyone was accounted for. He was partially on December’s schedule, a result of sleeping on her couch, making sure he saw her if she left for work, making sure she was around, alive and well and he had a feeling that went two ways. They were getting better, or maybe just starting over. It left Mickey at ease with everything, which was an improvement on everything else. What had happened to him was still weighing heavily on him. His cuts were still there, including the one on his forearm, bandaged even if it could have gone without because he didn’t want to look at it. There were still bruises on his face and he was still in pain, still hurting both mentally and physically, but it was getting better. Slowly. | Who: Kenzie and Mannix Where: Kenzie & Lance’s Place When: Evening Kenzie slept for most of the day after dozing off on Lance’s lap. She couldn’t remember her dreams, which was a blessing because she was sure they wouldn’t have been pleasant. After Lance made her some dinner, Kenzie wandered out onto her front porch to have a cigarette. She sat down on the front steps and lit up, her eyes watching the fire before releasing her thumb from her lighter and watching it disappear. She wasn’t feeling as groggy or weak as she had that morning, just… tired. Empty, maybe. In a way. She took a hit off her cigarette, the nicotine tasting like heaven after going without for so long. Her eyes caught movement on the sidewalk, and for a split second, she wondered if it was Skylar, coming to see her. And it was a very small and unwelcome feeling of disappointment when she realized it was Mannix. Kenzie said nothing, but scooted over on the steps just in case he wanted to sit. | Who: Zania and Lance Where: Lance & Kenzie’s Place When: Evening Zania had slept better that day than she had since Clementine disappeared, finally able to relax now that her friends were safe. There was still a plenty to be concerned about, thing and people she wanted to look into, but no one that she knew was in immediate danger. It also meant she had to get herself back on a normal schedule, sleep-wise and work-wise. She wasn’t thrilled about leaving Clementine alone and hoped that Skylar would stay with her during the night, or one of Clementine’s other friends. Zania was up and ready to go into work, but with some time to spare. It gave her the chance to drop by Lance’s house, to see how he was doing and ask about Kenzie. They’d spent a lot of time together the last few days, but hunting wasn’t the same as quality time. She was impressed with Lance’s ability to defend himself, but missed falling asleep in his bed. | Who: Micah and Nic Where: Nic’s house When: Late morning Micah wasn’t supposed to be home. He’d been at work for days on end and when things finally calmed down he was sent home, and while he fought it, he was exhausted. He felt terrible about leaving, but things had calmed down. Everyone who was still there was stable. There was nothing more he could do and they’d call him if he needed them. He stopped by his house, grabbing clean clothes, but there was nothing else he wanted there, which meant he turned towards Nic’s house and found himself there, knocking and letting himself inside. “Nic?” ( Read more... ) | ||||||||

| Who: Kenzie and Lance Where: Home When: Late morning Kenzie had been released from the hospital that morning, and was escorted back home with Lance. She had been fed and given water, her minor injuries treated. She was feeling better, at least physically. Mentally she felt… numb, maybe. Being so close to death twice, and then being set on fire... well, it fucked up a person’s psyche, for sure. More so when the fire did nothing but burn her clothes. Because Kenzie hadn’t felt a thing. Hadn’t burned to death. There was no sign of burns on her body, no agonizing pain. She hadn’t told the doctors that part. Despite the knowledge of werewolves and vampires, Kenzie wasn’t sure they would have believed her. She hadn’t told Lance either, because she hadn’t wanted anyone to overhear them in her hospital room. ( If I tell you something... swear you won't tell anyone. ) | ||||||||

DATE: Thursday, April 20, 2017 WEATHER: It’s one of those days that is just ridiculously beautiful. Light cloud coverage with the wind rising in the evening, making it a bit brisk outside in the evening. Temperature ranges from 74-58°F. EVENTS: Things are quiet in Delphi. Everyone that went missing is now accounted for, either dead or alive. The police have been very busy apprehending those responsible, but there doesn’t appear to be any danger in removing the curfew. Still, citizens of Delphi are advised not to be wandering around alone at night, just in case danger still lurks in the shadows. BODY COUNT: 97, 0 new this game day | ||||||||
