Title: "Waiting in the Dark"
Words: 100, despite the scene's valiant efforts to be 130 or so. Heh.

Challenge: Touch

It's dark, and it's cold, and he's never going to manage this, is he? Harry shifts, careful and quiet.

Without warning he feels it: presence, behind him, invisible in the black black dark. He whirls but doesn't speak. Silence.

"You will have just the one chance, Potter," say the feelings in his head. They stand close enough to touch. "On my signal." Fingers brush his, chilly and yet they brand him all over again, and then Snape retreats into the unborn fray to judge the moment.

Harry waits, warmed, and counts his heartbeats until it's time. He can do this.

Thank you for the gorgeous responses to last week's challenge.
This week's theme came as I was looking through my CD collection for something to play this morning. I picked up Sarah McLachlan, hence our prompt.

Challenge #27: Touch.
Do Harry and Snape touch each other? If so, do they touch in public or only in private? Maybe Snape is quite tactile, or not, or perhaps Harry is the "touchy feely" one. Or, maybe they never touch. However you see it, tell us about it. And, as always, responses need to be 100 words.
