FAILED ATTEMPTS • XXX.V.MMXIII
Failed attempts is a Harry Potter displacement game set in an unknown location run by unpredictable magic, in an unknown time. Canon characters (from the Founders through Next-Gen) appear from any point in their natural timeline and are forced to co-exist while everything around them remains uncertain. The opportunities are truly endless.

We have been open since the 30th of May 2013 and are looking for new faces to add in with the old! New characters! New ideas! New beginnings.

Its just a STITCH IN TIME

It’s 1980. The magical world is caught in the clutches of the first Wizarding War and You-Know-Who is an ever-present threat to the entire wizarding community. His Death Eaters run riot every other night, waking families from their sleep and burning lives to the ground. At the centre of it all, the Order of Phoenix is doing its best to stand firm, and pull some sense of normality back to the world.


Somewhere in the middle of Ministry of Magic, hidden in the department of Mysteries, a single rogue spell was fired. No’one knows who did it. Or why. Or how. All they can tell us is, ever since that day, people have been stumbling out of a doorway which, until now, had always been locked.


These people are not of this time. But now they’re here, and they’re stuck in a world that is falling apart around them.

The First Order

The Order of the Phoenix began as a philosophical society, spreading information to work against Voldemort’s influence.

They evolved into an army.

They are losing.

All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again

Behind the battle lines the Order members live as best they can. They make friends, fall in love, start families. They dream of the better world they are fighting for and don’t know their sacrifices will only buy ten year’s of peace. They live. They die. They are the first Order.

The First Order is a canon-compliant MWPP first war game focusing on the battles and the lives of the people who fight them. The game opens with ten characters.

The year is 1981 and Wizarding London is overrun with crime. Favoured Mayoral Candidate Lucius Malfoy seeks to put an end to it if only to improve the climate for his upcoming election. Two wars are being waged in this torn city: that between the youth and the elders, and that over familial allegiances.


The Crime Syndicate is allegedly killing a fresh victim each night, but they hold to their own standards of morality and conduct. Albus Dumbledore's uniformed officers of the Law are desperately trying to tie the infamous Black family with claims of prostitution, drugs, and murders. The city of London is in chaos and a new band of Vigilantes has taken matters into their own hands.


Which side will you choose? Who can you trust and who do you fear will kill you in the night? Join this Marauder-era game to partake of the blood-ridden action! [Please note this is an 18+ game]

Wizarding Britain is at war...

1979 is winding toward its own close. Conflicts between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters continue as Dark Lord continues pressing for dominion of the Wizarding world, and the Ministry will not stand for it. With the rise of a new administration five years ago, Britain has seen the situation grow more and more tense as all three sides raise the stakes one after another.

Laws prohibit travel without Ministry approval, and increasingly, democracy seems to be giving way to a police state. Muggleborns and their advocates disappear in the night as terrorists spill innocent blood in the streets. Pureblood manors are burned and ransacked as an organization for peace lashes out to fight fire with fire. Chaos ensues.

The loudest question on everyone's minds and lips is the simplest: who will win?

No one is certain, and no one is certain what will be left for those winners when the smoke clears.

[info]lockdown is a Marauder-Era AU roleplaying game, taking the world of Harry Potter and exploring the theme of an extended civil war and its effect on the populace. The themes of freedom, safety, peace and conflict, the opposing forces of light and dark, and the idea of what measures are called for in times of war will all be questioned, examined, and turned on their head. In the end, the work of the characters involved and the ends to which they are willing to go, are the only things that will decide Britain's ultimate fate.

This is 1981. Welcome to five years after the Protection of Magic Initiative was passed through a corrupted and coerced government and Voldemort, in everything but name, took control of the Wizarding World.

The Order have been forced underground or undercover. The Death Eaters officially are no longer active, though they exist behind front company Hallow Industries, so they can block things bureaucratically and still murder and coerce behind the scenes. Though the Order are valiantly fighting back, they are forced to resort to espionage tactics to counter attack the disappearances of friends and colleagues. Now facing sleeper agents, brainwashing, mixed loyalties and being painted as terrorists, the Order is having to find more and more ways to try and find out what the secrets of Lord Voldemort and his followers are and how to stop them.

Don't Say A Word is game based on espionage, mysteries and an alternate look at how things could have gone in the first war era. A great deal of knowledge in espionage isn't required, but an interest is key. Holds are now open and the game is set to open on December 6th.

I N C O G N I T O ♔ P R E M I S E

INCOGNITO is an Alternate-Universe Marauder Era game set in 1980. The Statute of Secrecy has been broken, and Muggle awareness of Wizards has added a third element to the First Wizarding War. Wizards are required by Muggle Law to abide by the "Magical Registration Act" so they can be identified, but the Ministry of Magic is lax about Muggle Law, not giving it the full, serious weight it deserves.
