The year is 2004.

As History has told us, the Ministry of Magic likes to hide things from the general public, as to not cause panic. Their constant need to keep us in the dark this time, has caused catastrophic, but amazing consequences. An experiment on the veil located in the Department of Mysteries goes terribly wrong. There is a bright flash of light, a series of loud noises, smoke of several different colors and then everything goes still. People all over the Wizarding World start blacking out, falling into a sleep. All of the Muggles in the world suddenly vanish, leaving their clothes, glasses, and jewelry behind. But that's not the biggest event that happened. Witches and Wizards started walking out from behind the Veil. Known Dead Witches and Wizards. And they were now as alive as they were before they died. Not Zombies or monsters, but living, breathing, healthy adults.

Ten hours after the initial event happened, the Witches and Wizards that had blacked out started waking up. They will soon discover the world as they knew it is gone and that magical beings are the only ones left. They will then discover the dead have come back to life. How are the characters in this situation going to react? That's up to you to decide. The game will start the day after the event.

→ Back from the dead Death Eaters and the Dark Lord are alive and in hiding.

The year is 2005... or is it 1981? Or 1998? No one is quite sure... all you know is that they’re suddenly standing just outside a large wrought icon gate which reads "Trickster's Paradise", through which can be seen a street that looks like Hogsmeade... only something is just slightly off, and it’s not just the fact that your mother is walking down the street towards you somehow, even though she died 20 years ago. There's also the fact that you soon discover how Hogsmeade somehow branches off into Diagon Alley, with Hogwarts looming over it, and that the Ministry of Magic is at the other end of the front door of the Leaky. Not to mention that just beyond the Forbidden forest is that beach in Blackpool that you used to go to when you were a kid, and if you walk through the train station in Hogsmeade you end up in a field that you're pretty sure used to be in Ireland. Welcome to the Trickster’s Paradise. Feel free to settle in and find a place to stay; you’ll discover that somehow, most of your favorite possessions will appear in your home the moment you choose it. Take advantage of this odd turn of events and get to know people you thought were long gone. But don’t get too comfortable. You see, odd things are known to happen in the Trickster’s Paradise... he has to stay entertained somehow after all....

TWISTING THE FUTURE


With the second wizarding war finally over, families have returned to their normal jobs and normal lives. The students of Hogwarts have gone back to worrying about homework, boy troubles and the quickly changing fashion trends. As the technology in the Muggle world continues to progress, the wizarding world has started its own research. By 2022 the experiments in the Department of Mysteries mixing technology and magic have started causing adverse affects on the world around them. No one quite knows what they're doing in there, but if the students of Hogwarts want to flourish and finish their classes, they'll have to find a way to embrace or ignore the effects the expriments have on the magic they're supposed to be learning to use.
