[info]veritas_rp is a AU, post-hogwarts RPG taking place in the year 2005.

OPENING TONIGHT

The town of Veritas is home to only 8,500 wizarding folk, after the war had left Wizarding London and nearby larger communities damaged, a great influx of people began to make their homes in the simpler areas of the country. Though some still commute to work, here jobs range from small business owner to chocolatier. Surely people are safer here....

But no: There are The Renegades led by Rodolphus Lestrange who have begun to recruit. Not to mention, some of the characters, well they don't even belong here, do they? They have memories of an universe where the war ended much earlier...then woke up here with these strange glowing orbs...

It's all a search for the truth in Veritas

On 10 June 1978, the man known as Lord Voldemort conquered the Wizarding World and named himself Minister for Magic of England. The Order of the Phoenix went underground to continue the fight, but they knew it was over.

Ten years later, it is June 1988, and the world has changed. Wizards now bear tattoos on the back of their necks ranking them from I to VII based on blood purity. No Muggleborn is allowed at Hogwarts, marriage is strictly monitored, and anyone who gets in the Ministry's way receives a one-way ticket to the grave.

With each day that passes, life gets worse, and the witches and wizards with the courage to fight are regathering. In the past ten years, countless lives have been lost, and the time for action is now.

The year is 2001 and everything is about to change. Hogsmeade, the only pure Wizarding village in the country is getting its own Quidditch Team! Inducting a new team into the league has never been easy but a mysterious backer is determined to see Hogsmeade succeed. The Hogsmeade Shoats are out to prove themselves and we want you to be a part of this fantastic new team. Reserve players are more than welcomed!

Shoats RPG is here for you. It's a player run plot with little guidance from the mods. We're here to help with ideas and support you not to micro-manage and suck the fun out of rp'ing. There are many options available for non-quidditch players as well. With Hogsmeade as the center, a new booming town will start to grow. Shop owners, faculty and more are needed! Come apply today. batbogeys! a new next gen game on ij. the game is set to open next week and will focus on character development and fun. the game takes place during james potter's seventh and final year at hogwarts school. his brother, albus, would be in sixth year. currently, only seventh and sixth years are available for play. what makes this game different? to encourage plotting and writing with new people, we have incorporated premades from popular shows and movies and made them a part of the game by assigning a premade to each character. feel free to look around and pick out new ideas and develop new character or tweak older ones. we want to give you a place where you can write and develop something that you like and where there are people to interact with outside of your usual friends. if you like what we are about, please apply! we open soon so feel free to ask for a hold.

Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries.

The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust.

It's war, but no one seems to know it.

Set seventy years after his initial take over in 2000, the new millennium, some people still hold hope for the future, but some have given up entirely.

The game officially began May 1, 2010.

Have you ever wondered what life must be like in a magical hospital?  Well, now is your chance to find out!  Set just after the end of the second war, Episkey! is a trio-era game taking place within the confines of St. Mungo's.  It's not all work and no play!  We've got an extensive schedule, including social activities, to drive plot and encourage character interaction.  Who knew rebuiling after a war could be so fun?  If Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy mated, reproduced, and had magical spawn, it would be Episkey!  Game play starts August 20th, so hold today!
