I N F O R M A T I O N
The world has become a smaller place.

Entering a meeting of the Wizengamot to urge that the wizarding world go public, Harry Potter is assassinated in June of 2007, ten years to the day after Dumbledore died. His killer, a Muggleborn witch, tells authorities that she was not willing to accept a world in which Muggles would have been enslaved to wizards.

In the ensuing anti-Muggleborn riots, eventually called the Summer of Rage, persons unknown set off a charm bomb widely assumed to be more powerful than they’d intended. The thought that they knew how powerful it would be and set it off anyway does not bear considering.

The United Kingdom is cut off from the outside world. The islands are about to be encircled by the ghosts of soldiers – who watch, and who wait, and who sometimes kill.

No one has left Albion’s islands since the charm bomb dropped. No one has come in, either.

The Premise


Werewolf attacks have become the stuff of everyday life for much of Wizarding Britain, an ancient spell cast by Slytherin himself is bringing the dead back to life, and a certain Dark Lord seems intent on conquering the world again... Harry Potter, the Head of the Aurors, has his Department fighting back with around the clock patrols and Hit Wizards are busier than ever before, but even with extra security, is the world safe?

How long will the tension build? How much can those who saved the world take? How far can the wizarding world be pushed before it reaches its breaking point?

The idea behind [info]wizzy is simple. We hope to provide you with a fun and active home for all your next-gen ideas and stories. We have taken the liberty of creating families and sorted the various new generation of Hogwarts students into the four houses. We hope that you will find a character that fits what you have in mind and that you will really make it your own. All we have provided you with is a list of their family, their house and year, and well as a few rumors (via [info]wizbler) that have been overheard in the hallways of Hogwarts. The idea behind the rumors is to give the game a little something extra and to give you a place to start with. Not all of your character's rumors must be true but at least one should be.

We plan on updating [info]wizbler at least twice a month and we have various other plots in store for our Hogwarts kids to keep you with something to do. We hope that you will really enjoy this game and that you will find us as a good home to develop your characters. We really hope you'll take a look around and send in an application. Best of luck!

If you’ve been living under a rock, allow The Prophet to clarify the fact that the world as you know it is at war. Since the beginning of the year 1979 your coworkers are no longer to be trusted; neither are your neighbors, your friends, nor even your grandmum sitting with that beady look in her eyes over her knitting. There is a call to arms and a race to fill every seat within the jostling Ministry of Magic, some desperate struggle for power on the edge of a gleaming city that exists only in the minds of the disillusioned. As the clock ticks away the minutes of an unraveling time, more are dying, magical and muggle alike. Take heed, youthful pioneers of a world burning to the ashen ground! Set forth and lament the losing’s, reap the ruptured, or comfort the condemned.

Your character will be given a number, one that might be drawn at random in order to facilitate plot within the game. Each week this will determine whether they are kidnapped, given a Ministry position, contract memory loss, or are senselessly tortured for information they may or may not have. The list goes on. Chance however, is the only mistress in which you can find unwavering loyalty.

This is an AU Marauder era game set in a war zone. The Order of the Phoenix and Death Eaters are struggling for power within the Ministry of Magic. It is a race against time with the pendulum swaying precariously between two very different futures. Trust no one but yourself.
