It’s with our deepest regret that we have to deliver this news, but it’s been a long time coming. It isn’t hard to see that in recent weeks, the game has slowly flittered in to not much of anything. After several long discussions and attempts at problem solving, both of us have come to the collective decision to end the game. Those of you who are still connected to your character muses are welcome to carry on at numerote, which shall now be known as a PSL. We know several of you will find it hard to drop your characters, so please feel free to continue threading there if you so wish!
We’ve had a good run and both of us are extremely proud of the game and of everybody who has played here at one point or another. You’re all brilliant writers and we hope to run into you at another game at some point in the future!

Hi guys!
It's been a long time, no? Well, things have been a bit quiet lately and this is just a post addressing that. It's that time of year where school/collage is wrapping up, people have been super busy and we completely understand that. Everybody has been slacking, us mods included. What we'd love to see is a fresh surge of activity from everyone to keep this game alive. We have lots more in store for all of you, so we really hope you'll be sticking with us as we continue the game.
As always, if you know anybody who would be interested in the game, send them over this way! Having a few new characters might breathe some life into this old game yet! Rest assured, so long as even one of you continues wanting to play, we'll keep this game open and as strong as possible! Now, let's all get to it and make this game as great and exciting as it once was!

Remember I threw a fit about suddenly needing to write a 10 page paper in four hours on the 5th? it ended up being a 22 page paper and I got 217 out of 225 on it giving me an overall grade of A+ for class! YAY! i just had to share.

Hi all!
As you might have noticed, plots did not go up this evening. The reason for this is that i've been in London and away from the computer since Monday and Lily has a string of important tests coming up over the next week or so. Both of us have been pretty scarce, but now i'm back full time and it'll only be a matter of time before my wonderful co-mod is finished with those blasted exams!
Activity has been a bit slow lately for all of us, which is expected for this time of year, what with finals cropping up and summer just around the corner! But have no fear, Numerites! Plots will be going up tomorrow night and we'll be working on some pretty big ideas over the next few weeks that we hope you'll all enjoy! Hang in there!

I'm sorry for bopping in and out of obscurity this week. I had to attend 8am to 5pm training all weekend and today. It's boring like watching PAINT dry. Like. I could CRY it's so boring. >.< Somehow I have to talk my boss into letting me a: go to the bank before 3 when it closes, b: get to the post office before IT closes at 4:45, and c: get out around 3 anyways so I can have downtime before I have to teach little kids. Really? this 8 am to 5pm thing HAS to stop. Plus schoolwork. OMGWTF?! >< so I'll be back as soon as I stop bashing my head against a desk!

Oh hai guys! It's Becka, with my fourth and final character, for realsies.
I have with me Mr. Ted Tonks, cool dad on the playground. He's 28, a former 'Puff, owns a shop full of knick knacks, magical or no (some of which he may or may not have charmed himself), is married to his lovely wife Dromeda and is the father to a daughter he'd do anything for. He spends his days with his adorable little Dora, whether he's working or not, and they are a dynamic duo who love fun and games but lack the certain level of neatness Dromeda strives for. Ted is super friendly and a genuinely nice, honest guy, but also very realistic, very practical, and an incredibly overprotective father. Mess with his wife or daughter and he won't hold back or be accountable for his actions. Ted may not look it, but he can kick some ass if he has to. He's an Order sympathizer, but for the sake of his family he's officially neutral.

Hey everyone, it's Cori, coming to make the Marauders whole again! I think everyone knows Remus Lupin, the adorkable bookworm who runs with a pack of some of the biggest troublemakers to come out of Hogwarts this generation. He's made it his life mission to try and keep them in line, like Jiminy Cricket, or a babysitter-- which is actually how he was employed, before the events in Winchelsea last winter brought him to the Ministry's attention. He has been living on Sirius's charity ever since, trying in vain to convince him of the value of a clean house. He is polite and apologetic to a fault, but don't mistake him for a pushover, because he is secretly quite fierce if you hurt someone he loves. (Or if you leave him hungry by bringing home Firewhisky instead of bread and milk.)
Basically he's the same Remus we all know and love, and he's ready for lines, old and new alike! I already know of a few things Jilly had going, that I'm willing to work in, but if there's plotting I'm not privy too, let me in on it and I'll see what I can do!

Hiiiiii! Yep I'm a little hyper today. You love me get over it. <3 I bring you a quasi-nice girl. By quasi I mean sorta on a good day. She's Bethesda Elladora Braithwaite, and most people call her Betty, although she really finds it annoying some days. She's 25 and works at the Daily Prophet. She kind of works as an information seller on the side - you wanna know, she can try and find it for you. She has no care to which side she sells to - she's truly neutral you see - but she has a flair for the disguises so if she must meet people, it's not looking like herself. Double Agent HUZZAH! Even if it's minor. :P She likes to think she's good a good foothold in the world this way. and since I always end up with a character sheet along with things like her awesome Memory of Awesomeness, you can go poke at that info. Yeah. I'm still working on it. But it's there for your consumption! Friends! Enemies! PLOTS! <3 ILY.

Hi all!
This is just a quick note to let you all know that plot posts will no longer be going up weekly. After a bit of discussion, both of us have agreed that thinking up new, original and interesting plot lines every week and sticking to such a routine isn't beneficial for us or you guys as players. So instead, plots will now be posted once every two weeks, resuming next week and following this structure from then onwards.
As always, if anybody has any questions or comments concerning this recent development or anything at all, just drop us a line on AIM or note us in the drop box.

I may be MIA for a couple days. My drug addled, alcoholic, morbidly obese mother decided passing out in the living room at her house was FUN and she whacked her head and gets to head to the ER. Again. and as unfortunately the only child, and the only relative around, it falls to me to go pick her fool ass up outta the ER and potentially run errands for her. I'm really hoping she gets my godmother to do all that. But if not I'm gonna be a grouch too.
EDIT: She's in a trauma center with possible bleeding on the brain. ><

Hola!! I'm Trinity, I am 26 and have been RPing since I was ten (i need a life, yes?). I got to school for Graphic Design, and teach Martial Arts. I'm a self-proclaimed HP geek and thusly I bring you Alecto Carrow!
In school Alecto was very much a loner-type, sticking to the Slytherin group, and getting into trouble, that sort of thing. She was overly excited to get to join the Death Eaters, though, and threw herself into it with all her being. She still does, of course. A fun tidbit - she was raised until she was 15 without her Father being around, or her mother. Her father came back when she was just shy of 16. The memory of this is here!!!
Alecto is a complicated, if slightly nutters, woman. To the public she is a typical blood purist. She loathes muggles and mudbloods alike and thinks Half-Blood could be useful, but does not hold them in any esteem; more like one tiny step above muggles and mud-bloods. She tends to be seen as cold and without emotion, although this is entirely false. She has emotions, and isn't an ice queen, it just takes certain people to bring it out of her. Her tone is even and calm, verging on icy when she speaks, although sometimes her voice takes on a slightly insane tinge to it. Her eyes can go from neutral to cruel but never to warm that anyone has ever seemed to notice. To her friends she's utterly loyal, friendly, and generally a decent person to. She enjoys their company and is glad for the times she can spend with them.
Anyways, I'm working on fleshing her out today, and I would have intro'd last night but I've been caring for of me and mine's sick ferrets all weekend, so I've been exhausted and passed out early! We'd like to call this one the "Blackmail Pictures" meme. How's it work? Simple. Your character has pictures of other characters doing things that they're more than likely to be embarrassed about (read: you Google/Yahoo/etc for pictures of PBs doing stupid things, the more ridiculous, the better). No IC reason for them to have the pics? No problem; they're not the ones that'll be doing the talking. The pictured character (or characters, if you're that lucky) get the lovely job of explaining what's going on. Other characters are free to provide alternate explanations if they so choose, cackle at the portrayed character's misfortune, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Have at it!

Hello, hello! I'm Cassie, bringing you Mr Lucius Malfoy, whom I played here previously but had to drop when RL got too crazy.
If you went to school with Lucius, you would have known him as prefect, chaser of the quidditch team, and eventually Head Boy. He was pretty much the golden boy of Slytherin and all that, and had boys for his bidding and girls to fawn over him (note: he probably exaggerates this number to what he thinks it ought to have been). Anywho, now he's happily married to Narcissa.
Lucius can be pretty charming, especially when it comes to business dealings and promoting his family, and all that. But he can also be spectacularly prickish, since he is Lucius Malfoy. He's arrogant, narcissistic (heh) and snobbish, and an extreme purist. He's a DE (duh), but his loyalty lies first with his family. His ambition is his most prominent trait, which means he's pretty cut throat when it comes to getting what he wants, but he's good at hiding it. There is a very select group of people that he genuinely likes and is loyal to, and it unlikely he'd break that loyalty.

Hello, Numeri! My name is Marie, and I bring to the table Rona Jugson.
Rona graduated from Ravenclaw in 1976, and the following July murdered her muggle step-father. She had her reasons, and if you wish to read up on her character sheet or her happiest memory, do feel free. I'm just going to hit on the points more people would be apt to know for the sake of simplicity. She is very book smart and unfortunately has to rely on her mates to keep her street smart. At the same token, she can hold her own fairly well. Owing to her sketchy past, she isn't the most intimate of characters (physically), and at this point in the game she has no real desire for that sort of thing. Truth be told, she'd prefer the companionship but would clam up if/when it led to anything physical. She has a deeply ingrained fear of that sort of intimacy, and she despises it more than anything.
She is currently sharing a house in Wales with her younger brother Iestyn, and her two closest mates are her dogs. Sad, I know, but that's how it is for now. You mess one of her babies, she'll drop you. End of story. Other than that, the only thing worth mentioning is the fact that she's an Obliviator for the Ministry of Magic. Woohoo.

Alright - so I know I just got here and all that but I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow and I'll be gone until Thursday evening! BUT just so that everyone can get intro stuff done I'll make a quick one here and then get back to you guys tomorrow morning hopefully! So here goes ::
Cristian Nott - he isn't really...'normal' exactly but he isn't crazy either. He's got a sick sense of humor in a way and just seems a little wonky to most people. The look in his eye is sort of maddening but he honestly isn't seriously crazy. He walks with his head down but that's mostly because he doesn't want people to notice him on the street. When he was younger his father would abuse him physically and verbally until he fought back when he was 15 [see his worst memory]. His father died a year ago and Cris blames himself for it because he always 'stressed' his dad out, but he really didn't.
He's sort of quiet but if you get him talking he won't stop. He's really good at studying people and reading them, but because of that a lot of people think he has a staring problem. He doesn't. Promise. But he's a DE obviously, and he's a little hesitant when it comes to human contact. So.
Comment here if you have some ideas :] I would totally give you more info but I haven't written it up yet >.< sorry I'm slow at the moment, I'm a wee bit sick, but once I get back from everything I promise I'll be on the ball!
