Just For Kicks is a trio-era, Hogwarts based RPG that is - you guessed it! - Just For Kicks. It's all about putting the 'play' back into role-paying and having a good time. We are looking to add the following to our cast:

Slytherins! Cunning, ambitious, sly - you get the picture!
That Neville Longbottom boy.
Seventh years - like Cho Chang, Marietta Edgecombe & Cormac McLaggen to name a few!
James Franco, Hayden Christensen, Ellen Page and Antwon Tanner played-bys.
Prefectly types!
Some kid named Harry Potter and maybe his bff Roonil.

Really, though, anybody on our available list would be welcome!

It is the summer of 1971 and all around Britain and new year
of students are receiving their Hogwarts letters- pureblood, halfbloods and
muggleborns alike. Follow these students through their summer and the coming
year at Hogwarts. What will happen to them? Will their choices impact their
already formed friendships? Will they bend to societies prejudices or tread
their own path? Only time will tell.


Tom Riddle, now known as Lord Voldemort to a select few, has
resurfaced and is gathering followers to fight a war of Blood Purity. Will your
character join him or fight for the ministry or Dumbledore? Perhaps they will
stay neutral. Only time will tell.


The Beginning is a Harry Potter Roleplay set in 1971, the
Marauders first year at Hogwarts. All characters who are alive in that year are
available to play even if they are no longer in Hogwarts, plenty of things are
going on in the rest of the Wizarding World. This is an AU game as you are not
expected to stick with canon. Severus can become friends with the Marauders,
Narcissa can like Amelia Bones... anything goes.

It began with a bird..... and a wizard..... Where it will end, nobody knows......

The year is 1995 - the place, the wizarding world. Harry Potter is going to begin his fifth year in another month or so, and the summer has been unbearably full of non-information. No news from his friends. No news from the Order. At this point, he would have welcomed a visit from Dobby, even if it did get him into trouble. But there was nothing.

All of that is about to change.

Come with us now to that magical time, when wizards were rampant, and hopes and desires were pinned on a man with a serpentine face, while the civilized world held its breath for the chase.... Come to a brand new world which we are creating - we call it "Quoth the Raven" - and you are invited to join with us there, for writing, for plotting, to play and to care. No OOC drama, just fun in the sun! And best of all, we are having our GRAND OPENING!

August 1st - be there, be there, be there! Life as you know it shall never be the same!

Quoth the Raven is an AU 5th year game - canon for the first four years, the fifth year has its basic shape in OOTP, but after that, we are on our own, with some significant changes in store. We love to listen to ideas, the sky's the limit!

Many choice roles still open - we would dearly love to see: Severus Snape, Fleur Delacour, Penelope Clearwater, Pansy Parkinson, Molly and Arthur Weasley, Alastor Moody, and more Hufflepuffs, male and female!
