Harry Potter RPG Ads

The year is 2001. Voldemort was defeated nearly 3 years ago, and the wizarding world is busily rebuilding.

The Death Eater threat has been eliminated, at least as far as the Ministry is concerned. Every witch or wizard who bears the Dark Mark has been hunted down and is either dead by their own hands or given the Kiss. There may be some stragglers, but the Ministry says they are so few and far between that there is no threat. The exceptions are only those who can prove they switched sides during the war. Such a pardon is rare and must be corroborated by an Order member.

Relations between Muggle and Wizard have reached an all-time high. While not fully integrated, movement between the two worlds has become much more fluid. In fact, anti-muggle sentiments are not only frowned upon, but are extremely prejudiced against.

There are even policies in place to completely eliminate the statute of secrecy and all its subsidiary policies within the next few years.

Obviously, some are excitedly looking forward to the change, and some are very much threatened by it.

Even more strangely, according to both factions, those known to be dead have been appearing. While no one seems to know the rationale, no one can deny that it is happening.

Now, the Ministry is fighting two battles. One, to encourage Muggle and Wizard interactions, and the other to define where these dead citizens belong.

Tempus Fugit is a Deathly Hallows compliant RPG. As this game begins nearly two years post war, the epilogue has not happened.

We are looking for vibrant characters with a thirst to redefine the wizarding world. Original Characters are welcome, but please be aware that certain rules apply.

This is an epic-style game. Plot arcs spanning months are welcome and encouraged!

For specific player-driven plots we are very much in need of Andromeda Tonks! She would step into a very active plot already beginning. We also need Arthur and Molly Weasley. They are missed by their two youngest (who also wouldn't mind having their older brothers around!)

Five years after the fall of Voldemort. Lives are rebuilt, families reforged, loves rekindled. Wizardfolk are finally learning to live in a world without fear. But not everyone is pleased with the new sunshine-and-smiles lifestyle of the post-war Wizarding world.

Despite a successful career and a promising future, Romilda Vane is bored. Life has never been more dull since the confusion and distress of the War have died down. And everyone is so. Bloody. Cheerful.

But Romilda has a plan – an experiment of her own concoction, and for her own amusement. A way to test out some of her most creative potions – brews that would never be approved for testing by the Ministry. But what the Ministry doesn't know can't hurt them, right?

Under the brilliant ruse of forming an honor society for the heroes of the war, Romilda has invited what she hopes will be the first of many "test groups" to a very special banquet. Little do they know of the special ingredient that has been added to their meal.

And the results? Well, not even Romilda really knows…

About the Game

With the series finished, and the future of Harry Potter and his friends all tied up with a neat little bow, what's left for those of us who still see infinite possibilities left in the world JK Rowling created?

Idle Hands is a game where players can come to explore all the closed and unexplored options of Rowling's world – for those unsatisfied with the happy, cheddar-cheese ending given to us in the Deathly Hallows epilogue. For those who still hold a secret hope of seeing Harry and Draco together. For those who believe Neville and Ginny's date to the Yule Ball meant just a little more to Neville than he let on, if only he'd had the nerve to say something. For those who just want to see their favorite minor characters given the chance to shine.

In the world of Idle Hands, anything is possible. Through the use of Romilda and her personality-altering potions, players are given the chance to take their characters outside the realm of Rowling's small box, to explore even the most unlikely relationships and situations – even if only for a little while. Potions that remove character inhibitions, let them fall in love at first sight, and open many more realms of possibility will be unleashed, affecting characters for up to a week, and leaving repercussions that can last as long as the players are willing to explore them.

Even though we all know how it's going to end, doesn't mean we can have fun in the interim.

We are currently looking for open-minded, creative players to cast ALL characters. Gameplay is set to begin May 10th.

Far From Grace is a livejournal-based an alternate universe Harry Potter Marauders' Era Role Playing Game. It began with the death of James Potter at the hands of Peter Pettigrew last November and explores how the world changes for his loved ones, friends, and enemies after that betrayal. It is a game intended for serious players interested in strong characterizations and character development, as well as involvement in plotting and story-lines. We have been going strong since November 2007, have a great group of core players, and are looking to get a few fresh faces!

We would LOVE to have the following characters: Alice (would-be Longbottom), Frank Longbottom, Andromeda Tonks, Ted Tonks, Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, Alecto Carrow and Amycus Carrow! The wizarding world is changing. Hogwarts is run by Slytherins and Purebloods while Halfbloods wear badges to mark them as different and Muggleborns are either in hiding or imprisoned. The hero of the age, Harry Potter, is on the run and the fact that he and his friends are still alive is all that keeps some people from going crazy. Not everything has gone wrong. The Order of the Phoenix is fighting back and doing what they can to help everyone, including creating a secret school in London where Muggleborns are hidden and taught. Ted Tonks plays the role of Secret Keeper. Then at Dumbledore's Army does their best to lift spirits and fight the anti-Muggle sentiments while things look to only be getting worse.
